Yea I was just talking about that fight in the KO thread, Hurtado had his number until he got caught slippin.

And I knew i've seen ur handle somewhere else lol, I've seen that Tribute video a billion times bruh! Good s**t!!

And Randall Bailey is my dude, he gives alot of support for our Youth Boxing program out here, and his manager Chico Rivas as well. They need to make that fight with Mike Jones happen already.

I just looked up his record. Joey only has one loss, but it was a second round KO. Hmmmm....
Yes, twas a pretty big deal around here lol. At least from my standpoint.

Joey's only loss came from a rematch stemming from a controversial draw vs Ed Paredes (Dominican from Lawrence, MA living in S. Florida). It was broadcasted on ESPN2. Hernandez was KOed too quickly for my liking.

Funny but I remember receiving an advertisement of this fight on the streets showing 'El Ciclon Promotions'

Bailey is a beast, I have much respect for him.

I would love to see Bailey give Jones a run for his money.

Brad Solomon and Selcuk Aydin would also be great opponents for Mike Jones.

Let's just say Hurtado's mini-legacy amongnst us could have been quite different.
Whitaker's next fight was vs a very young Oscar which many felt he (Sweet Pea) won. This speaks on how well Pernell's condition was at the time.

No doubt. Who knows what Diosbelys's career might've been if he had a better chin. A lot of Cuban fighters are very skilled, but you can't teach a beard.

The top one from what I have seen so far is Rances Barthelemy and sometimes ugas

none of the other ones have impressed me franco, johnson, dorticos etc

Socarras was really killing it until that draw he got a few months back

but none of them are on the gamboa, rigo, lara , hernandez type of level

He sure was and I feel will continue to 'kill it'. The KD in the fourth was complete BS, Socarras was cuffed behind the head and lost his footing. Should have won that fight. Either way I'll be following El Maja

Richard Abril (17-2) which recently won an interim abc vs Miguel Acosta in Panama. From what I've read Acosta was floored a few times.

His only loses were SD's to Henry Lundy and B Prescott
