go look on boxingrec of what fighters in the 90s did after a couple big losses. they fought journeymen for the next few years. look at guys like grant, botha, tua, rahman, golota all took time to rebuild themselves before their next run at a title. 2 losses can be devastating to a fighters career. look at tua. 1 title fight vs lewis & his 2 biggest losses were to byrd & barrett. both fights were to be followed with a title shot. arreola needed to build himself back up for this run at a title.

I understand he needed the wins to build his confidence but at the same time the crown(s) are the same...It would be alot more exciting if we could talk about the things he has improved on that would make it possible for him to dominate a Klitch other than confidence...He wasn't exactly lacking confidence his first dance with one and he won't be the first to approach one with pressure and KO power. I like his transformation...he has obviously worked hard to slim down but his fight with Molina was just like watching a big James Kirkland...I don't see his answer to a Klitschko jab at all and he really shouldnt have gotten hit like that at all.

Would like to see him beat a top 10 fighter before getting another shot. Or maybe a top 20 fighter at least...

You're totally right, and the rational part of me agrees with you 100%

...its just fun to finally have an american heavyweight who is likeable and fun to watch in the ring! Watchin him KO bums and talk with an honest fighters mentality is so damn refreshing these days (especially in the HWs), even though he ain't going to be any trouble for Wald, or even Vitali again.

Arreola hasn't lived the part, you have to sacrifice through out a career, not just at fight time. You can't go hog wild with your weight in between fights, or drink and smoke simply because you're not in training. He may be more dedicated now, and I applaud his ambition, but his time might have passed. His ray of hope is that the K bros are also getting older and no other, younger talent has appeared, yet.

He says all the right things but never properly acts on his words.

Chris needs a new trainer!! Period!!!

He needs an experienced trainer that can actually discipline him. Henry is his homie but I really believe he needs someone with the experience to take him to the next level. Dan and Al should protect their investment and advise to seek a new trainer. He has an exciting style, he's Mexican, he can have a huge Mexican following as well as U.S supporters because 2172of his fan friendly style, or in his own words "Balls To The Walls". So "PLEASE" Chris!! No disrespect to Henry get someone that will take you to the next level. I might have some good recommendations!!!!!
