I think everyone agrees with that comment but that is not what he's suggesting with Cotto.

This has "overtrained" written all over it, Miguel hasn't stopped training since the Marg fight? really? Whats he gonna do a 13 week camp? lol...

I'm not a big believer in the whole "be in the best condition" claim.. great stamina and conditioning, especially for a boxer, is something you either have or don't. You can only improve your conditioning by so much naturally without overtraining, especially at 31, the body already has it's limits. Floyd's lungs are probably 2x bigger than Cotto's so no matter what Cotto does he will never be in better condition than Floyd...

If I was Cotto, I would really work on those chicken legs and mid frame for more raw power and just hope to hurt Floyd at some point..

All in all I think Cotto loses a UD 9-3 or 8-4

If youve followed Cotto..throughout his career he has always had long/longer training camps. To say hed over train is an amateurish move on their part and is not likely for them to do. He has a pace and he sticks with it.

Ok even though I have explained myself and people understand, you tell me what I am suggesting.

And if youve followed Cottos career you would know he always has stamina issues.... It's a solid post.

People are looking into this too deeply. All the man said is that he did not blow up after the Margo fight and that he's in an ideal weight to focus on training and not weight loss. He'll shed the 15 lbs w/o any problems and he won't have to kill himself doing it.

Those Cotto haters can go on ranting about junk till May 5th, I truly believe history will be made and Floyd won't be the one celebrating. I just hope it's a tough fight for both and they get their due props.

Good to see the Cotto fans vs the Jr fans go at it in a decent manner.

I be pulling for Cotto although I don't think he will win UNLESS:

He uses that sharp JAB all night like he did with Pac in the first round of their fight.

That jab is what lost the little scrap between ODH and JR,,,,about to puke again

Jab Jab Jab and keep Jabing letting the other punches come off of that Jab.

Then when on the ropes its up and down but you got to go to the body from the first round, go to the head to keep Jrs mind that you are not all about the body. Don't give up going to the body, beat the elbows and arms, hit the bicep muscles

                    Jab dang it !!!!!!!!

                    DON'T QUIT dang it !!!!!!!!!!

Get down and mean take JR to the trenches and see if chicken mang will QUIT !!!!

Don't forget the body early like from the first round

                    and

did I say JAB DANG IT ???????

The fight is 4 years too late. Jr has made his mark without throwing a punch.

Jr will always be known as the fighter who waited on others to be beat to death and then fight them, smiling like a nice possum eating pea seed, getting it stuck in his teeth.

JAB dang it !!!!!! EVERY cotton picking round !!! 40 or 50 of them

That Cotto is over training just because he's "started training".
