Not saying you're wrong...but why would Maidana have taken the fight in the first place if he doesn't want to fight him? It's not like it was a necessary fight.

i dunno...im guessing he thought he got better terms. but since his team seems to have slept through negotiations, now hes having doubts. seriously tho, whats the excuse for asking about drug testing with lest than 2 weeks before the fight based off unsubstantiated rumors that no1 else has seemed to hear about? its definitely suspect

After his team/manager apparently (hmm) negotiated and agreed a fight with Bradley which Maidana claimed to know nothing about, you'd think he'd pay more attention to what fights he's signing up for and the specifiic details. The number of rounds involved is a pretty big issue.

have a feeling this is going to be a BREAK OUT FIGHT for Alexander, one that will put him in the mix to fight Mayweather next...JUST WATCH AND SEE how this plays out, something seems a little weird about Maidana's Camp, seems like a Lack of Confidence and maybe a little Nervous about fighting in St Louis in Alexander's back yard because he knows he will need a KO to in plus he only get 10 Rounds to try and score a KO

but I have a feeling Alexander stops him just like he stopped Urango by landing something Maidana doesn't see coming

all the club fighters are probably on roids, lol!

not to mention a urine test on the night of a fight is hardly enough

serious drug tests cost serious money. if you want to get somebody on a random WADA/USADA level testing i think it costs tens of thousands, if not hundreds for a year round program.

i dont think the money exists anywhere but the top of the sport for adequate drug testing.

you've got to have these guys giving blood year round and getting them with the best tests money can buy

and even then, a serious doper can get around them. the drugs are always a step ahead of the tests.

if i can find one i'll get a link to a victor conte interview on Leave it in the Ring radio that has plenty of information. i'm certainly no expert.

i will say this; there's a lot of money on the line. if PED's can make you a better fighter and earn you more money and you can get away with using them you can bet your ass that some of the guys out there are using them.
