I don't hold the loss against Kahn because those two points taken away were the deciding factor
But hopefully Kahn comes out and stands his ground. If Peterson wins, then that's good, although I don't suspect it. Kahn is just better, but I do hate that his head is so swelled that he can't walk through a door
respect to khan for trying to secure that rematch. it's a very risky fight for him. people critize khan so much, but he's actually fighting a lot and the best possible opponents. if you work alot you are more prone to make mistakes. i am more pissed off with khan's antics after the peterson fight and not the actual loss.
i wonder what adjustments khan will make for the rematch. with this strategy peterson will be again a tough nut to crack.
If he beats LP that fight in DC only set him back 5 months. But he needs to sit on his punches more and cut down with the jumping around
Don't ya think if he sits down on his punches,it put's him more in harms way...It's a big reason ya see him running like that,he does not wanna take the shots he would have to take by planting his feet...He is not only set back 5 months either..He took a lose bro, people will remember that, what if he wins another closely contested fight(which I believe he will)Peterson will want a rematch..Will Khan not give it to him??After Peterson gave him one??That will not look good in the public eye..Trust me that lost hurt Khan a great deal...
So if he loses to another good champion he is no longer good?
I'd have no problem with this statement if lot of people before the fight were saying Khan was simply "good". They were saying before that fight he had Mayweather, Pacquiao P4P potential. A lot of people actually saying that he would smoke someone like Ortiz at 147 and give Mayweather problems, when he is actually a lot closer to the previous rather than the latter(And a lot of people also now believe that Ortiz is not a good fight for Khan).
Lamont is a good fighter and was underrated before that fight. It was a close fight which I actually scored it for Khan by 1 round. But you don't look like that against a "perceived" contender type in Peterson and still walk away willy-nilly like that just didn't happen.
