1st key point of that interview "when the time is right"
2nd key point he was laughing when he said it.Comment

What do you think being a world champion and fighting against world champions is?
It's world class level you pleb. He may not be ELITE, but he's proven he's world class and operates at that level.Comment

plus, what professional fighter would say they'd back down from a fight, even if it is against arguably the best WW around? i doubt any boxer would say "no, i don't/wouldn't fight him". especially someone who gives you the biggest payday you can get in this sport. kid's just got confidence in himself. like i said, we'll see how good he really is in due time.Last edited by chiguy91; 02-10-2012, 06:03 AM.Comment

I think the word 'world class' is bandied about too much.
He's a good fighter. But he's not there yet imo.
Way too many holes in his game.Comment

absolutely.
i think froch has severe limitations, as ward highlighted. however, froch has been mixing it with the top boys on the world stage and has had a decent degree of success and can certainly stand with whoever. certainly world class, by definition, end of.Comment

yup.
by the time he gets to being in a realistic position to securing a match up with pacquiao he probably would be in a good position to beat him. brook is definitely on the up and pacquiao is getting older. add it up and it becomes a bit more competitive. although 99% sure pacquiao will retire before that anyhow...Comment

That's besides the point.
You said:
"ive never heard a single person say he could challenge Pac and Mayweather. I dont think even Kell Brook has said that ffs"
And I presented that clip, which shot down your argument.
Don't be mad bro.Comment
