To be fair, it is a winnable fight , the Kahn one. Not so much with the JMM fight...

That and JMM would command a much bigger share i'm sure than Kahn so there's that. Too bad though, becuase I don't think Kahn gives a rematch if he wins. He's like that... Notsure Kahn wants to tie his career up in Peterson if he wins. But hey, if they negotiate a rematch in that event, I guess it works out well for Lamont. No one really thinks he beats Pac, Floyd, even JMM...do they? :|

I wonder what adjustments they will make.

Lamont needs to pressure sooner and Khan needs not run as much. Hit and move and dictate the pace.
I don't know about that. Peterson was unlucky not to get KO'd by a fresh Khan in the early rounds last time. He would do well to hang in there for a couple of rounds until Amir slows down, as Khan will be even sharper at the start of the next meeting.

I think what Peterson can do is try to get his shots off quicker, he spent a long time winding them up in the last fight.

Hope Khan destroys him in the rematch so I never have to hear about Peterson again.

I'm only going to watch the match for Soto- Matthysse which is a better match anyway....
Peterson had a better deal with Khan and the rematch makes more sense anyway because if he should beat Khan again (which I think he will) then Marquez-Peterson will be a more lucrative affair. Peterson works his ass off day in and day out he doesn't duck anyone as far as I know, and he has every right to do what's best for his career.

You only get more money fighting Pacquiao, ask Marquez.

I was rooting for Lamont against Khan. I thought he lost the fight and he won due to hometown cooking. With that, i am gonna root again for Lamont to win.

Different referee this time obviously so better officiating all around better for the safety of both fighters im sorry to say i don't see how Lamont can win the rematch he stole the first fight rushing in and throwing pitty patty body shots to try steal the rounds he knew he could win from home cooking he was out landed in all but three rounds or something and khan had 2 points taken away and he still only managed to sc**** it by a point with all things there set for him a cleaner more disciplined khan beats Lamont by 4-6 rounds in my eyes all my points this as the outcome. anyone inbox me ?

I would have preferred Peterson - Marquez but this is a good fight too.

I think Peterson just edges them both on points anyway. Cant see what Khan will do differently next time to make it dramatically different but I can see Peterson adjsuting and not giving the first two rounds away 30-27 (with the knockdown) Another close fight with Petersons aggression winning the day in Vegas

he got KD trying to box Khan, it was when he realised he would get his ass kicked if he tried doing that all night he decided to stay in Khans face all night on the inside.

He'll go straight to the inside in the rematch if Khan lets him. Khan needs to make sure he lets Peterson know from rd 1 that its not gonna work by doing what he talked about on ringside (dunno if u say it, but basically it was about only fighting on the inside when he had to, and use more movement to get his own shots of and get back at long range where he wnats to be)

Glad the rematch got made, the 1st fight was a good one, and was controversial enough to raise serious doubts over who deserved the win. Hopefully Khan can learn from his mistakes and be able to deal with Lamont (and anyother fighters in the future) when they turn it into a bit of a brawl

i am so hopeful of a win for peterson here, i cant stand the other bloke.
marquez is far to experienced and much more resilient than the other bloke for lamont to even make a dent.
                      definately the easier fight.
also, the other fellah has nothing to barter with as peterson is the champ(belt holder) whereas the "other fellah" has nothing except, the loss to prescott in 54 seconds and a loss to peterson which i admit was marginal.
however, the crying that then ensued was that it was some kind of miscarriage of fair judgement.
this is where people went forgetful and im gonna tell you why.
it was close even with the knockdown but, the deductions secured it in my view.
nobody at ringside, commentating(i heard mallignaggi) or any of the premier broadcasters complained about the decision to award peterson the title.
we all saw and judged for ourselves and it could have gone either way.
the guy in the hat in my view did not change what we actually saw.
its funny how the showing of this going on has changed so many peoples views on what they actual witnessed in their own minds.
lol, and ODH sitting right behind the guy actually looking around him in some shots to see khan getting another loss justly served.
check my posts, i said prior to the maidana fight that this @#+$ would lose one of the next three fights and he has, hopefully he will be reduced back to the level where i have always pegged him......domestic.
in another post i said walk before running and his greed caught up with him.
                      deservedly so.
prediction: i am afraid to say he may actually fight by the rules in this one and possibly get the nod.(i would love to see another prescott rollover)
or something like what kostya tszyu did to judah.
