    Me too. Good post.

I'm not so sure he doesn't have the legs to run from his opponents though. He feels more comfortable at 147 now and trusts his chin a lot more than he did when he first moved up, IMO. That, and I really think he's making a late effort to silence some of his critics.

I compare Floyd fights to the Superbowl. The hype and buildup are what really make the event impossible to miss. Sure, sometimes the action disappoints, but you'll always be back for more.

i am sorry but that is sad.

what the hell are you even talking about?

until i came into a thread ranking floyd mayweather as the most well rounded fighter of all time and ran into "*****s" i haven't heard a single person tell me that my opinions on boxing make me look ******

in fact they've been well received from many of the posters i respect.

for the record, i'd pick mayweather easily outpoint mayweather, and i dont identify myself as a member of either of their fanbases if it means i'm excluded from the other.

        you sir are a "*****"
i dont know why i am even talking with you

Ah the ol' 'I'm a neutral' comment.

It's pretty obvious you don't like Mayweather. And hey, I understand. I honestly do.

I used to dislike the guy before too. Until I tuned into his fights.

After that, he could insult my family and I wouldn't squeal. That's how good he is.

What's your gripe with the guy? And why are you lodged, so far up Manny's ass, that you bought an estate up there?

        Simple question.

young man if i had to pick between floyd and manny i would pick floyd
i have nothing against either guy

if you look around or ask around you'll find that i'm a well reputed poster who does his best to remain objective

if this and the "well rounded thread" are the only one's you've seen me in i can perhaps see where you'd get the idea that i'm "anti floyd"
but you'll see me out there advocating for and against both he and pacquiao all over these boards

          your friend, "brother jay"
          now he is a "*****"

that guy was literally following my posts around and trying to discredit me (and falling short. i'm sure i've been wrong plenty in the past and i'll be wrong again, but not in these situations, and certainly not in a disagreement with with so little knowledge and so much bias)

i was a fan of the sport before either guy came onto the scene
and i'll be around long after they are gone

Floyd is boring point blank. That's my opinion and am sticking to it. Oh and i don't know jack about boxing, I have been in the game 32 yrs and trust me I know talent but I also know boring and floyd is that.

I might be in the only minority that enjoyed Floyd's boxing back then and now. Just shows how well rounded he is.

i dont get bored with floyd. he's great with what he does. but what make him suck sometimes is that when we knew he could do better or when we knew that he could hurt the opponent if he really pushes it but then he just preferred to play it all safe. yeah he counters perfectly but not to the level where he can destroy them or tko them.. he just do it all over and over again. how about finishing it sometimes because he definitely can... he has a wonderful offense a long time ago, wonderful combinations, now he has transform into a sniper.. so i think thats what make people think he's boring is because he's playing it too safe even when the fight is already secured in his hands. and he is really boring to watch for the casual and just a you pass-over fan but to die hards he is not.

Most people don't love the sweet science. Many people who watch this sport is just casual fans, and respect to that, as they for the most part are the ones making this sport run financially.
