If a division is not ruled by americans, it is automatically labeled as dead or not interesting? Boxing is a GLOBAL sport, not just an american sport. Wlad and Vitali are just as dominant, if not more so, than Tyson, Foreman, Holmes, Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield etc...and also have higher KO percentages than all of them. But the division is dead, boring, uninteresting? This is a pretty ****ty way to look at things in my opinion. Is it because they are not flashy, showboat bigmouths? I guess thats it huh? I am a fan and respect fighters of all nationalities, regardless of where they are from, what they look like, etc. I just think people need to give the Klitschkos credit finally, they have beaten everyone available period.
Good point! I've thought the same. Although, the competition back then was a lot more stiff than it is nowadays. That isn't the Klits fault though. Everyone that has been put in front of them has been destroyed. Gotta give them credit for that. I think they would have done well back in the 90's against the elite of that time. Don't see them as dominant though, especially Wlad. Good post.

Excellent post -- too objective for some of the buffoons haunting these boards. Green k sent.

It's interesting that some of these people hate the Klitschkos so much that they would rather see boxing die altogether than give them any credit.

yeah, the Americans it would seem are very bad losers.

what most of u idiots fail to get is that its not just the american heavys that suck. ****, hbo aint showing american heavys either. all of the heavys suck outside of the klitchskos. the euro heavyweight scene is just as bad as the american one. unless u believe chisora is some kinda beast, which he is not. helenius wasnt anything special either, and that became apparent very quickly. no1 wants to see another david haye fight that **** was horrendous. why should hbo pay to see him run around ta he ring again? the better question is who should hbo be paying to see fight? klitchsko vs generic european #15? yea rite.

                Helenius isn't anything special?

Wow, boxing fans are so fickle. The guy KOs three former champs, fights Chisora with a bad shoulder and hand (the shoulder required an operation that could end his career) when he could have just cancelled the fight, sticks it out all twelve rounds and almost KOs Chisora (by Dereck's own admission) in round one, and now he's a bum. Incredible.

Aside from Helenius, there's some good fighters in the division: Boytsov, who needs to fight somebody real, has potential. So does bad boy Kubrat Pulev. David Price is getting better rapidly. Povetkin is also still a factor. You can either see the glass as half empty or half full, but it's a lot easier to knock everybody and everything than to be positive, I guess.

Like I said, it's easier to just be totally negative....I don't agree with you.

u dont have to. the rest of the world does. and even if he was a s good as u claim he is, he isnt exciting. he hasnt beat anyone of note except a few washed up former champions. there is absolutely no demand to see him fight, esp after his last fight. blame americans if u want, but its not their fault that the klitchskos are much much better than every single fighter in the world.
