Mayweather vs Chavez jr, what would happen?

To be honest, it might seem unrealistic but if people can want Mayweather to fight Martinez then Chavez shouldnt be out of the question.

I can't see Chavez jr cutting off Mayweather to go to work, he's too slow.

Agreed wit ^this, Chavez Jr is too slow and I think he would have Str8 Right Hand to the face nightmares for the rest of his career after facing Floyd.

The fight can happen if Chavez Jr was not in TR.

What would end up happening is the same thing that would happen if JJr fought any elite fighter, he'd lose.

To beat Chavez Jr, you don't even have to O.D. And get a fighter like Floyd or Martinez. Someone like Cotto, who's just an okay fighter, would break Chavez Jr in half with body shots. The body shots that are non-existant vs good fighters, but are there vs lesser fighters than him like Judah, Quintana, Foreman.

Mayweather would humilate Chavez Jr over 12 rounds, Chavez Jr's size will allow him to go the distance, but gets punished while Floyd puts up career high connect percentages in all categories.

I see Canelo putting up a better effort than C Jr.

I could actually easily see it happening and even somewhat predicted it. Not now but I could see if Floyd is totally at the end and wants to cap it by adding a MW title. If Chavez is still the champ by then, I could see Floyd going for it

at 160? Chavez would be over 180 and Floyd would probably stay at 160 on fight night. Big advantage for Chavez.
