Forrest would have sonned Floyd. Forrest was a tall rangy fighter that fought that way. Floyd wouldn't try to get on the inside where he'd need to be. Floyd wouldn't even be a welterweight if Forrest was there.

He beat Mosley back to back when he was in his prime, dodo. which by far beats any wins that Mayweather has had so far. Look up his record, then you'll know whom he beat without asking on this board. You're basically asking someone to look it up for you, just laziness, LOOK IT UP.....

Mosley tried to **** with the taller guy.

Floyd would have fought Forrest like he fought Baldomir.
        Alot of movement.
Mosley wasn't "fighting him" Forrest was basically hunting Mosley, who was at the sharp end the whole 2 fights, although he did better in the second. Made sure he wasn't caught, but still lost. Forresxt had overwhelming advantages in his size, his capabilities and his determination. He'd do the ssme to Mayweather.

Myorga was a special case, eccentric. He had enormous vitality and stamina, and he threw a bewildering array of very speedy punches like a buzzsaw. It was impossible to predict which direction his punches would come from. And he was a heavy puncher, not a guy to take any chances with. At his peak I think Mayweather would think 3 or 4 times brforr fighting him.

Vernon is a very bad style match up for Floyd because of his size and his jab. Floyd's ability to adjust always gives him an edge in any fight he has so I would still favor Floyd but it would have been a hell of a fight.

That would have been a great fight to watch R.I.P Vernon Forrest.

I compleatery agree! Forrest was a big 147, tall long arms and excellent jab. He had everything to offset Floyds speed, especially with that jab.

Like someone said earlier, Floyd would have waited til he was older and past his best, and than tried to sell the fight as credible.

Jesus. Forrest is extremely overrated on this board. I'm beginning to think the corpse of Vernon Forrest UD's Mayweather
