Very good fight.....but i will go with Floyd based on good movement, defence, and speed.

Floyd would have never fought Forrest like Mosley fought him.
Mosley tried to **** with the taller guy.

Floyd would have fought Forrest like he fought Baldomir.
    Alot of movement.

147 aint Floyds weight, he has less pop and is clearly slower..

Forrest seems to have the perfect physical advantages and i can picture him going to war late in rounds trying to win them, i dunno if floyd could win..

        How was he overrated?
Because people think the guy is unstoppable in fantasy bouts. For what reason? His two wins over Mosley?

For those two wins, he as two just as equally embarrassing losses right after.

Wasn't Vernon Forrest outboxed by Mayorga???????? Vernon is way too one dimensional to beat Floyd. Jab jab and try to set up that big right hand. Floyd would outsmart him and fight a safe fight and win by UD 118-110 120-108 117-111.

Co-sign, stylistically Vernon would offset Floyd's rhythm with not only his jab alone but his arm reach would give Floyd fits.

I know I am in the minority in stating such but Vernon would have the greater potential in scoring the upset based on these aforementioned reasons...

Forrest against the Floyd that was 1st at WW and wasnt anywhere near a real WW is a tossup fight. However, Forrest against a Floyd who is still smaller but has somewhat grown into the weight like he has now gets beat convincgly by Floyd IMO. Great fight though.

Ill say this though. The Floyd vs the jab thing is the most overrated thing in boxing to me. He doesnt have problems with a jab nearly as much as people think

                  He got caught by Mayorga.....ok
But the second fight could have gone to Vernon.

So every fighter that got knocked out is overrated?

Toss up, but i'm gonna go with Vernon having the slight edge. Although Forrest is no hearns, he has similar attributes except Power but those attributes alone i think would give PBF issues.

The jab would have set up those big right hands.
People act like Floyd is unbeatable.

I just feel like the fighters in Floyds era just don't have the skill or the type of body to give Floyd problems.

Hearns, Forrest, tall guys like that with decent speed but great jabs and right hand power, would give Floyd and any boxer fits.
