Alright, drop all the hate and the racism stuffs. Do you seriously and honestly think that Donaire is beatable at 122 lbs?

Do you think someone in the 122 lb division will outbox, outwork, or even KTFO of him?

His last 2 fights are indeed ugly, but he is in control. Narvaez and Vasquez most of the time covers their face up and just jab and potshot the way out of him. Thus Donaire tends to showoff and lower his guard inviting his opponents to come and slug it out. And that resulted to him getting hit by those potshots.

But how about Arce, Nishioka and Rigondeux? Do you think they will do the same? I'm no pro but I seriously believe Donaire will beat all these guys.

I feel like people are on the band wagon far too hard.

There was nothing in control about the Vazquez fight. he took some BIG shots, too many, DANGEROUS big shots. That is never "in control". Stop listening to the commentators, watch Donairs mannerisms, listen to his corner. You all had the fight wide.. Garcia pleaded with Donaire in the last 2 rounds saying "we NEED these rounds". And although I disagree that he "needed" them.. I actually had teh fight a lot closer than a lot of you. Donaire showed urgency, several times. A guy "in control" doesn't need to do that.

This was not a 1 sided affair at all (at least not in the way people think) people just seem to like judging blocked punches and give no credit to a healthy jab. He got caught flush with some MEAN right hands as well and a lot of times while trying to slip them, so I don't want to hear "oh, he let him"... really?

I didn´t expect him to eat a zillion jabs from a c level boxer and get his face busted, Rigondeaux kills him.

Maybe if Donaire stepped up in competition he'll find someone who's there to win, unlike his last two opponents. I know Arce is that guy but I'm talking serious competition here, Moreno, Mares, Nishioka or Rigo. Yeah he's beatable but I'm not confident in picking anyone at 118-122 to beat him.

Not really. Rigo and Moreno can ugly it up and maybe nip him but Donaire's the goods.

That was a solid performance...it was better than Martinez against Barker and I didn't see Martinez get this backlash.

I'd say the 3 are ok except Mares. I just don't see Mares as being a hard fight for Nonito.

I agree, Mares didn't impress me at all against Agbeko in the rematch. Just that while he might struggle against some of the guys I mentioned, he'll be able to put his skills on full display as I don't think they'll allow him to walk away with the victory if Donaire is well ahead in the fight.

No?, he is a better combination puncher, a better body puncher, has faster hooks, better jabber, probably tougher and already is a proven bantam champion. Even Agbeko can beat Donaire.
