He definitely won't be what his dad was, but a lot of sons of former boxers never made it as far as he has on his own either.

I don't think anyone realistically expects him to be equal to his father, anyway.
    Hector Camacho Jr
    Marvis Frazier two examples

Chris Eubank was doing the same thing when his son fought. But that was his first pro fight not his 44th.

If JJC was to be his trainer then train him, if not, stay in your seat.

Can't believe he was calling out Cotto and Margarito. He is a huge middleweight now and you want to fight small light middles.

Martinez is the fight you have too take, but credit too Jr to recognize he would get beat if he fights like he did against Rubio.

They do in Mexico. Listen to every interview ever made with this poor kid. It always goes to "How is your father_________" or "What about your father ____________"

He will never crawl from under the shadow of his father and anything less than him accomplishing the same things as his father will be met at the end of his career with "He wasn't as good as his father though"

Depends on which way he goes.

Resume wise no... but he could end up engaging in some classic battles that have major rewatchability.

Gatti will never rank higher than Floyd... But Ill still watch the **** out of some Gatti fights.

Too bad he didn't fight Oscar De La Hoya, that could have redeemed him in some sorts.

And could have always used the triangle theory to justify he was greater than his father.

He can even use Floyd's justifications, there is no blueprint to beat me, and my father has got losses on his record.
