    nuff said.
He is on the P4P rankings but he aint the number one guy in the division. Why does Rigondeaux deserve to fight Nonito?

I would feel offended too if my promoter blatantly told HBO to not mention my name, they name-dropped Pacquiao a couple times too. Now what the **** does that say about Arum's intentions? He wants us to believe that Donaire is the next Pacman. What comes with that comparison? Popularity and star-power. OMG, DONAIRE WAS BORN IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY TOO!!! lol, I hope ya'll see the foolishness that's taking place, ****ing brain-washing us. What Arum should do is match Rigo with Arce to get his popularity up, but that isn't where his head is at. Rigo is being treated like the red-headed stepchild. I see this relationship turning very ugly, very soon.
Nonito Donaire wasn't born in General Santos city.

He's being brought fast cause he's okay with it, he's at an advanced age for 9 fights and instead of "padding" his record, he wants to make the most out of his time in boxing by immediately fighting the best available fightersm

**** all that padding ****. Fighters with 30-40 fights end up having only 5-10 real stand out wins. So if Rigondeax can get 5-10 notable wins in a 18-25 fight pro career, I'd say that's the same **** as these fighters with 40-50 fights with less than 10 notable wins.
kev theres one problem, he hasnt fought anyone yet

I completely agree with you. But the problem here is Donaire is already on the P4P rankings and a marketable guy. TR are trying to push him to be the next big superstar.

I want to see Rigondeaux fight Nonito as much as anyone on here but the guy only has 9 fights and business wise it doesnt make sense for Nonito. I can see why he isn't taking the fight and its not because hes scared.

The issue I have is with people hanging off Rigondeaux's nuts for a win over a bum. Nobody was kissing his a$$ before he fought Ramos. All of a sudden everyone in the division fears him?

Rigo is trying to get quality opponents but in todays boxing he wont get those types of fights unless he pads his record.

You c, you told me that I was out of line, now you did the same thing because you don't know me, my favor fighter is not even Cuban, Duran and Arguello, Hagler and Leonard are high up there too, do I support my Cuban fighters? Of course, but for more than 50+ years we didn't have any Cubans like we have now, Luis Manuel, Fernandez, Paret-RIP-, Napoles, Legra and Ramos were winding down, it was not until the late 90's that we have a few defectors most of them past their prime and not thinking much about seriously fighting, only Hurtado (he has a lot of management problems) Casamayor and Gomez took to the field more or less in full force, now we have like 30 fighters and a least half of them have a good chance of capturing a belt, guys like Franco, Jhonson, Lara, Barthelemy, Ortiz, Barrera, etc.. could be fighting for a belt this year, Hernandez and Rigondeaux already has one and Gamboa is challenging Rios and already is one of the best, the future for Cuban fans and boxers looks bright I just glad that I'm part of it too.

I just answered your question, supposedly Nonito is way much better than Nishioka and have a better name, being on the "P4P" list

But does he deserve a shot at Nonito? Maybe after a few more fights. As of right now, Nishioka should be at the head of the list of guys Nonito should fight.

                    • I'm a Rigo fan but come on you got 9 professional fights, can't blame 1,000 yr old Larry Merchant for not caring about you.
