Who knows what's really going on, but with Arum/Roach/Ariza there always seems to be something shady going on. If it's not catch weights, it's cutoff dates for PED testing, or hand wraps, or in this case, a controversial weight drained fighter taking off after the fight without giving urine.
I don't trust any of these mfers...
I'd check their wraps, make them submit to USADA testing, and only fight them at regular division weights.
It's disgusting.Comment

According to Rubio’s co-manager, Julio Gudino, Chavez Jr. did not take a post-fight test for illegal performance-enhancing substances.
“We requested- as required by the rules of the WBC and the state of Texas Athletic Commission - the anti-doping test, which their rules mandated for world championship fights and Chavez did not do the anti-doping tests,” he stated to Maxboxing, explaining further, “We were in our locker room waiting for the anti-doping tests to be done per the rule meeting that would be completed after the fight. We were waiting; we requested the test to be done so we could get out of the stadium, so we could take Marco to rest and we were told, ‘No, Chavez is not doing an anti-doping test.’ It somehow didn’t get ordered.
“So the WBC, Mr. Jose Sulaiman, is standing by the ruling and ****ie Cole, the Texas State Athletic Commissioner said he didn’t order it, yet at the rules meetings, requested and required it, as it is by the rules. So this championship and this title should be an issue and there will be a formal complaint.”
This sounds very fishy, doesn’t it? Somehow the WBC and Texas somehow allowed a fighter to circumvent the testing protocol? And not to cast any aspersions but didn’t Chavez Jr. get busted before for utilizing diuretics? It was no secret leading up to this fight that he was very heavy and cutting weight rapidly the week of the fight. This here looks like a systemic breakdown- or worse.
This seriously needs to be pursued as much as possible. I hope it just doesn't go away next week.Comment

If he has any integrity, he'll ge tested tomorrow, because it shouldn't be out of his sytem yet. But, you never know.
This will fuel the fire of the whole "Ariza/Roach/Pacquiao" PED's s**t again.
I wonder when boxing will get smart and impliment random testing throughout training leading up to fight night, for all major fights.
They should do a BALCO type of investigation in 2012, so we can see how many boxers are on PED's.
104 MLB players were on the positive PED list for 2003 when they were rampant in Baseball, and some think that number is low.
Garciaparra, M. Ramirez, Damon, Ortiz, Lowe, Martinez, Roberts, Mora, Giambi, A. Soriano, Boone, Pettite, Clemens, Delgado, Wells, Ordonez, Colon, Tejada, R. Soriano, F. Rodriguez, A. Rodriguez, Palmiero, Sheffield, I. Rodriguez, Lee, Abreu, Alou, Sosa, Zambrano, Prior, A. Ramirez, Bonds, Beltre, Gagne, Helton.
Those were just the names that random sports fans would most likely know. A ton of big names.
It'd be scary to really know how many boxers are on PED's, regardless of who they are.
Given that there are tons and tons of professional boxers, I'd say that there's probably at the least 10-15 known and good boxers on PED's.Last edited by 4Corners; 02-05-2012, 10:20 PM.Comment
