I respect Roach's opinion, but Floyd is taller, has the longer reach, has better conditioning + the superior boxing skills to boot. Miguel is in for a long night.

the question is if Cotto ca take Mayweathers counters well or not. If he can take Floyd shots well i think he could outwork him. They fight at 154 and thats better for Cotto. When Floyd fought at 154 agains DLH he had problems and it was a close fight. And DLH was alerady far past his best at that time.

No one is writing Cotto off. He only lost twice cause he was cheated against and weight drained to a corpse. If he got two fair fights at that time i think at least one of those results would have been different.

I respect Roach the work he's doing with JCC jr proves hes still a legitimatley good if not great trainer , but when he says shiat like this he loses a lot of credibilty and only shows his jealousey and immaturity, Its not a question of "if" cotto loses to Mayweather its a question of how badly hes going to lose to Mayweather Roach knows full and well Mayweather is going to Gatti Cotto and make Pacs performance against Cotto look weak in comparison, floyd jr as a person is scum but as a fighter hes fighting much stronger much much stronger than pac is .Saying **** like that is only gonna come back and make Roach look ******.

ill be the first one to say, i dont see it. to me theres a very slim possibility of this being a close fight. the only thing im uncertain about is the weight. but i guarantee u, after floyd beats cotto, if he does that is, everyone of these guys will find an excuse as to why it happened and how poor a fight it was.

All due respect to Gatti. But don't make those kinds of Statments because u lose all credibility! Cotto is a much better and more complete fighter than Gatti ever was! Floyd was dominate against Shane and looked very strong against Ortiz but he will not Gatti, Cotto! Gonna be a better figh than people expect and if Floyd makes it look easy, all props to him because I will be a Great win. Why criticize Roach for his statement? He's not sayin Cotto will win, he's saying how Cotto CAN win. And his thoughts are sort of on the money. Floyd will not bust up Cotto the way PAC did! The increased weight will help Cotto and Floyd is not a brutal puncher. Sharp and accurated, but he doesn't really bust people up. Floyd could be dominate but won't KO him or pound him into submission.
