ill be the first one to say, i dont see it. to me theres a very slim possibility of this being a close fight. the only thing im uncertain about is the weight. but i guarantee u, after floyd beats cotto, if he does that is, everyone of these guys will find an excuse as to why it happened and how poor a fight it was.

Only ones that show up with that excuse are the people that just show up or talk about the fight because they hope Floyd loses. Anyone that's a true fan of Cotto's will accept defeat and move on. I hope Cotto wins, I'm a fan. But if he loses it's because he was not the better fighter that night. Period. Not because he's shot or any of that other BS people post!

Of course he does lol...hes praying Cotto beats Floyd. So him and his whole group don't have to come up with more excuses to avoid Floyd. Cotto is a good fighter but he has to plant his feet and completely abandon defense to trade and I doubt Floyd is going to let that occur. Hell Clottey almost outboxed Cotto and Cotto lucked out on getting that decision. Anything can happen but I just don't see him beating Floyd. If he does, it will have to be by stoppage, there is no way Cotto is winning a decision over Floyd. However, I don't think Cotto has the power to stop Floyd to be honest.

Roach is way overestimated as a trainer so he can say what he wants. He would be no one without Manny and he knows it. Why haven't you guys signed to fight Bradley yet huh? Still trying to figure a way out of it lol?

I'll get in on that bet. Don't see Floyd stopping Cotto. The kid is battle tested and his two losses aren't the end of life like some people on this forum make them out to be. People I'm sure haven't been in a tough fight in their life but want to comment on what they take out of you or what a fighter has left after them. There is a reason fighters have to fight the fights and a winner isn't decided after they sign the contracts. Cotto and Kirkland are my two favorite fighters and Ali my favorite all time. Obviously! but as great as he was Norton gave him fits and could be argued beat him in those fights. As great as Floyd is he hasn't been tested often and if he does walk thru Cotto all props to him. But this is a fight I want to see and I give Cotto a good shot because he is not an easy out and after fights, even the ones he's lost, his opponents walk out looking like they have been in a fight! He is flawed and he takes shots but he's also touched every fighter he's been in the ring with. Floyd will be in a fight. And only reason I say Floyd hasn't been tested is because I believe in this era he could have taken on more tougher fighters. Guys like Oscar and now Cotto have fought everybody. Contenders, Champs, everybody! Floyd just hasn't. And because Arum said Cotto wasn't ready doesn't mean anything. Because we both know if Floyd was a top rank fighter at that time that fight would have happened! And Floyd was smart to duck margarito in retrospect but it's fairly easy to see and it's verified Floyd turned that fight down long before his cheating was exposed! Floyd is smart and cautious in his selection and fighting style. He won't knock Cotto out because he won't try to. So whatever points I have I'll bet them all

Floyd fought Baldomir,Hatton and Zab at welter ,2 fighters who won major titles at the time and had better wins at welter then Margarito at the time.And Margarito had a paper title with no big wins at the time.So how is that ducking Margarito?

And also Floyd has been the most avoided fighter out there when he was`nt a big name.He was avoided by Kostya Tszu,Joel Cassamayor,Acelino Frietas,Juan Lazcano,Paul spadafora,Trinidad,Leonard Dorin,a young Dela Hoya, and a young Mosley.

Also Floyd wanted to unify the belts with Hatton and Cotto after he beat Arturro Gatti and neither of them wanted a piece of Floyd.Bob Arum said Cotto was`nt ready and Hatton said he was`nt ready either.

Cotto comes in with a great jab! However, I think Floyd's speed and extreme accuracy will lead him to victory. It's going to be a good fight regardless.

Roach sets himself up to be both criticized and ridiculed by constantly and consistently contradicting himself ... now last I checked, a teacher, Professor master class instructor ... always verify data and information before presenting it to an audience. Otherwise they face challenges to not only their reputation, but also ridicule from presenting false\inaccurate information.

Absolutely not, everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter where they are. And if Roach is going to represent himself as "Trainer of the year" and "Boxing Guru" he should at the very least consistently present his arguments. But if he's going to present BS ... he deserves all the criticism he receives.

Hence, the reality check, you spoke of, is more needed on behalf of the presenter .... not the audience.

The only problem with the opinions here is that the majority here try to pass off thier opinions as facts. What dude said was right. This is nothing more than a bunch of internate fambois talking trash. They are some people who do post with some good non biased information but for the most part this is a glorified pissing contest with people spitting out imaginary figures or wild accusations.

You need to GTFO. Floyd spent the better his career ducking the fighters you said ducked him. You lost all credibly with that comment. You just made yourself like another Floyd Stan who has no clue.

it seems to me that there are too many internet bums here that dont know shiet about boxing they say cotto is shot just cause he has 2 lost in his record and one daughtfull cause of the cheater margarito witch to me was proven he did use the plaster in the first fight. its funny cause pacquiao has like 3 or 4 lost in his record and they said that he aint shot that he is the best boxer etc.... just cause cotto lost 2 time dont mean that his carear is over in fact it has made him a better fighter from a lost you learn and correct the errors you made so stop hating on cotto and learn first about boxing dont come here and talk shiet in the forum if ya aint a boxer or dont know shiet about boxing!!!
