Can't argue that his defense was poor and has been now for his past two fights, but possibly he didn't open as much as he should have due to the injury. I'm not sure. It looked legit just from the way it bled through the wraps. Either way, right now, he's gonna have a lot of problems with some of the better fighters in the division.

It was his first fight at 122. He fought a decent and tough opponent. He knocked down his oppenent once. He fought with an injured hand. He won.

Lol can't see why people are mad.

it is expected that nonito would not be very impressive tonight because it was a test for him to fight a bigger opponent and vazquez is a skilled/strong fighter (former champion).

i think nonito did more than enough to prove that he is a P4P fighter, despite of the injury. he dominated the fight (disregard the scorecard), dropped vazquez and willing to trade power shots, but unfortunately vazquez was not willing to engage... imo, vazquez felt the power of nonito on the early rounds that's why he changed his fight plan to defense mode to prevent getting knocked out or maybe he realized that nonito's skills is too much for him..

for me, nonito passed the test in this weight division and he will probably become undisputed at 122...

haters gonna hate? i think he beats everyone at 118-122 besides rigondeaux, to me that's a tough fight to call. for now, i'll go with donaire based on professional experience but we'll see what happens.

Like Pacquiao...Donaire should not be matched up with defensive/Fearful fighters like Narvaez and Vasquez. It encourages Nonito to open up to make the fight exciting and when he does...he gets hit alittle and will be accused of poor defense (Haters I tell you) And these same haters want Nonito to fight and even more Clotteyesque fighter in Rigo. Ayayay...........

and after the Montiel fight you would of said he is the best fighter in the world, smh. You're only as good as your last fight in boxing fans eyes but you need to take in account style matchups and just the overall fact that no one looks perfect, every time out. Donaire is an exceptional talent and will do well at his new weight(s). Rigo ain't **** if you ask me. Using boxingscene logic, Rigo looked like **** against Cordoba and probably should of lost. Donaire cruised last night and would never have a close fight like that against a guy like Cordoba at this point in his career.

i think gamboa or chris john would be much tougher tests

LOL at these b1tches saying Donaire aint got defense. He had to put his hands down for WV2 to come in since he's pretty much turning up to be another Narvaez up to Round 4. WV@ didnt came to win like Narvaez he was more ****y during the presscon
