what happened to just enjoying the fights? what happend to appreciating the effort these fighters had to put themselves through? I thought it was a pretty good scrap and i enjoyed watching vasquez toughness and determination and i was impressed with donaire's obvious elite athleticism and skill.

The last few seconds in the 12 th round is how I want Nonito to fight.Not load up with vicious hook all the time.He opened up with combinations.They weren't hard punches just enough to land.Every punches Nonito throws are all power punches.Gotta just ease up on throw combos.

Agreed...I kind of was hoping donaire would stop Vazquez Jr in the later rounds, but at the same time I knew that Vazquez Jr was going to come into the fight determined to get that win and not just survive. So respect to Vazquez for making the distance and putting up a good effort and respect to donaire for the win...Vazquez Jr is a good first win for donaire at 122...

With a 117-110 score card....that's hard to say you weren't impressed. Some guys don't let their hands go because they know what's going to happen. First round, WV2 said he has no power......next round, wobbled di wobble.....

Because if WV2 opened up in the first half of the fight, he might have put Nonito to sleep

And with the same thinking, WV2 could've been put to sleep early as well. Let's remember which fighter was clearly rocked early in the fight WHILE they were covering up and was forced to turtle up in a corner.
