Just beat the "Khanquerer", get some money, avenged loss, and avenge Peterson and you're better off than ever, one of the few to have beaten his conquerors. Ortiz-Kahn would be better..but Breidis is an investment.
Who Did Ortiz beat that beat Khan?

If Ortiz is so much better than Peterson why did he sc**** out a draw against him?

The biggest problems Khan had with Peterson was a bias ref and a guy fixing the fight at ringside and even then he list by a point . So unless Ortiz is bringing a couple of friends I don't see how he has much more than punchers chance.

this fight is too much for a welterweight debut. ortiz is a good inside fighter that can apply pressure for the whole fight (what cracked berto) - exactly where khan has a lot of problems stylistically. but then again it's not going to get any easier.

peterson will fight jmm next i think. that would at least keep him on the pac rollercoaster for november.

A high possibility Khan gets KO'd. That being said he has got the ability to UD Ortiz if he gets that defence sorted out.

Just like your number 1 boxer on your lists gives champs like mosley and cotto an ultimatum...just like pac gave cotto

Khan is the cash cow, peterson got a gift and now he is making the right move to avoid the fight at all costs, even to the lengths of writing to the wba to duck khan

If Kahn sees this though, I'll have gained a lot of respect for him, win or lose. Really ballsy (if not altogether foolish) move.

Definately not a foolish move. If you dare to be great you need to take the toughest challenges to get to the top. Long gone are the 80s where Leonard,Duran,Hagler,Hearns and countless others would fight each other to prove their greatness.
Now we got financially secure world class fighters that can't split 100mil between them to make one fight.
