i would have to go with vicious vic in this match up. i think vic would be to strong for khan at this wt. vic is fast and has good hand foot speed. khan throws arm punches that vic would walk right through. vic by 9th round ko. vic ends the khan train.

I'd love this matchup. Can't decide who i'd go for, big fan of both guys

For those who say Ortiz stops Khan easily. Remember Khan beat Maidana (who in theory pressures better than Peterson did, who Khan lost to so remember styles make fights) and also remember that Ortiz only drew with Peterson as well, so Khan 'losing' in a close fight to Peterson hardly puts him below Ortiz

... But then i think about the 160lb Ortiz who mugged Berto and i have trouble seeing Amir keeping Ortiz off of him

          FOTY candidate for sure

Victors size at 147 is freakish, he comes in on fight night looking like a tank. If Peterson was able to bully Khan around the ring and even hurt him with his feather fists, I think Ortiz takes him out.

Peterson is a better boxer then Ortiz(as shown when they fought each other)he attack Khan in different ways..Ortiz is a bull rusher it's when Ortiz does..He will get eating alive by Khans jab,if Ortiz develops a jab of his own and set's his power up better,Ortiz would be a hell of a fighter...But if he has not done it by now he will never do it,Khan by UD...

That's a damn good 50/50 fight. However I'll lean towards Ortiz. He isn't a fighter that Khan simply runs through in 3 rounds. He'll have more left after 4 & stops Khan late in a barn burner.

IF khan makes this fight I will give him much respect. Never will I say a bad word about khan.

Until then khan would get stopped for sure. This isn't the amatuers. Ortiz is a tough pro. Khan's only defense is a sprint. No chance to keep ortiz off at 147.

Its all meaningless anyways. Within a week camp khan will release a statement saying ortiz wants too much money.............you can bank on that

I would say look back to the Ortiz Peterson fight,Peterson change up and used his Jab and movement to change the fight in his favor...I expect Khan to do both(being the fact he does both better then Peterson)the one thing that will hurt Khan tho is when Ortiz gets inside..Peterson was able to handle that,Khan won't be able to..I have to go with Khan tho, very good fight imo....
