The quote clearly insinuates that despite a 154 limit Mayweather would prefer the fight at 150. That is obviously the reason for the question.
Several members of Floyd's NSB PR team made a point to reach out to me and reference this thread. Claiming I didn't clarify I paraphrased. Per the editing on the first post, I did clarify. With that said I've read more closely on the topic, and as I understand it now. The statement about fighting Martinez at 150 was a conversational quote more than it was a declaration of Floyd's intentions.
The reason I edited the first post and included a disclaimer note was to acknowledge the title's wording was misleading, which was in no way my intention. So with that said I am sorry to any boxing fans who were confused by this thread. The last thing I want to do is fuel Mayweather verse Pacquiao nonsense. Regarding both upcoming fights.. Mayweather by KO and Pac by KO!
