Why make that assumption? Be objective. I'd bet $ that a Floyd-Sergio fight would happen at 54.

Floyd didn't say 150, he responded to a question he was asked.

What is your definition of elite? Obviously you think highly of P4P hence why you mentioned it. And, if that's elite to you than yes Martinez has beaten elite fighter(s).

No what he did prior to 09 is irrelevant to what he is doing now.

And, again he must have been doing something prior to 09' for Oscar to beg the WBC to remove from his mandatory and for Forrest to duck him.

how do we know their styles would give Mayweather problems?..we havent even seen their styles on display at an elite level...give me a break....

wait so would Trout defeat Mayweather or Canelo?....who cares if he would pick apart alvarez....alvarez is a farce....

Mayweather would whoop all 3 of those guys you mentioned and you know it...
your missing the point...maybe you have A.D.D. or something again nobody said any of those fighters would beat Mayweather! go back and read my original Post and READ SLOWLY, all I was saying is that the fighters Casual Fans want to see Mayweather against...NONE OF THEM HAVE MUCH OF A CHANCE because NONE OF THEM CAN BOX, they are all BRAWLERS and/or One-Dimensional, some one like Mayweather would figure them out within 3-4 Rounds and pick them apart

BUT with guys like Solomon, Trout even Guerrero, those guys can BOX, so they would be more effective against Mayweather IMO...Never Said anything about them "BEATING MAYWEATHER"

by the way if I was a Casual Fan, I wouldn't even know who Solomon or Trout or Guerrero are

how many fighters are "elite" at this point iyo?

hype jobs? wow. I suppose you think the Shane, Vic, Hatton, Zab, Baldo, Oscar, Gatti, Bruseles, Corley, N'Dou and Sosa wins were over prime elite, active fighters.

Both are sort of where Leonard and Hagler were in 87', not prime, but still really good.

If Floyd fell off years ago and is past it, then you must think he was absolutely amazing in his prime, because he's still pretty damn good. And so is Manny, only difference is he was fighting a Mosley unwilling to engage him and a Marquez that will always have his number.
with a fighter that is as in active as floyd...i cant for the life of me see greatness. Fight more. Pick better fights rather than better numbers. He wants easy money and markets a mouth and a 0 on his record. He might impress others with his 7 fights in 7 years (3 of which is major controversy) but im not impressed.

read your posts and you'll figure it out.

first clue- trying to say he drew with cintron to prove your point, then backtracking.

so this is about guys NOT promoted by big promoters getting a shot?

Those guys have decent boxing skill but they have not beat any TOP fighters within their divisions for me to be able to fathom the idea of those guys beating Mayweather.
