And this is why Mayweather will continue to remain undefeated because today's boxing fans are not very smart, they are easily influenced and they believe anything Arum and Top Rank or Oscar and Golden Boy Tells them, I guarantee you probably never watched any of those dudes Fight besides maybe a few clips on youtube

just because they don't get the HYPE as others does not mean they are not good, Solomon would box circles around most of those current Welterweights...IF GIVEN THE CHANCE

and Austin Trout would pick Alvarez Apart...EASILY IF GIVEN THE CHANCE but Golden Boy Promotions KNOWS THAT ALREADY so that is why they Avoid fighters like those and would rather keep feeding their fighters BUMS

and by the way nobody said any of those fighters would "BEAT MAYWEATHER" but because they have SOME BOXING SKILLS and can do more then just try to get a KO, their Styles would be more effective against Mayweather then others

Kinda like Zab Judah, who say what you want about him, had GOOD BOXING SKILLS but just lacked Discipline, it did not have **** to do with Zab being Left Handed, Zab had good BOXING SKILLS he just did not have Dicipline and his In Ring IQ wasn't great

you sound more like a casual boxing fan. Do you not know how the boxing game is set up?...this is how it is....you must prove yourself. You as a so called fan would NEVER EVER legitimately approve Mayweather fighting any of those guys you mentioned...are you kidding me?

how do we know their styles would give Mayweather problems?..we havent even seen their styles on display at an elite level...give me a break....

wait so would Trout defeat Mayweather or Canelo?....who cares if he would pick apart alvarez....alvarez is a farce....

Mayweather would whoop all 3 of those guys you mentioned and you know it...

Hey Reed, how long do you think Floyd has until he falls off and is past it???

I say he has 2 more years (2012-2013) of good fighting left in him. After that, all bets are off.

I don't think Floyd wants to fight past 35-36 though.

so what does Martinez do that will bother floyd?....weight?...cuz it dame sure isnt skill
What Martinez did or didn't do prior to 09's is irrelevant to what he can or has done now. What he wasn't or wasn't capable of in 09' is irrelevant to what he's capable now. And, how he is seen now.

Note: He must have been doing something before 09' for Oscar to plead to the WBC to remove him as his mandatory and for Forrest(RIP) to duck him.

Thank you.......and that dude would be the first one saying Mayweather is ducking Cotto, Martinez and Pac to go fight the Trout, Solomon and Guerrero

Floyd's not "prime", not since 2007. But neither is Manny. Both are still good though. They are not past it. Are they prime??? No. Are they past it??? No.

Both are sort of where Leonard and Hagler were in 87', not prime, but still really good.

If Floyd fell off years ago and is past it, then you must think he was absolutely amazing in his prime, because he's still pretty damn good. And so is Manny, only difference is he was fighting a Mosley unwilling to engage him and a Marquez that will always have his number.

I doubt it unless he goes too high in weight. If he gets up to middleweight or above, he'll start getting hurt when hit.

now Martinez hasnt impressed me.....IMO he has not beat an elite fighter.....id like to see him fight some guys at 168 and what he did before 2009 means alot. Just cause you fight bums then come to America and fight hype jobs doesnt make you a threat to the #p4P fighter in the world....hes had some impressive "looking" wins....but not against ELITE fighters ..
