Martínez is not outclassing Cotto at all, he couldnt outclass Darren Barker FFS!

Not a contradiction at all, they fought the top guys in their own divisions. Top guys as in top ranked.fighters, he could easily fight, Pirog, Golovkin, Sturm, Proksa or go down and fight Kirkland, Lara, Canelo, ect. But he choses to fight stiffs.

i think the only time martinez gets the big fights is when they learn to stop bitching. if you keep on insulting the big money fighters, they will never give you a chance.

Sergio can't sell out an elementary school cafeteria. How is he supposed to become a draw when all he does is whine and complain and fight people from countries that don't even exist anymore? What's next is he gonna fight a Visigoth?

Who the hell is Martinez? He's the nobody that thinks he's somebody for knocking out a has been.

The Cotto vs Mayweather fight is going to be a boxing classic.
When Mayweather fought declahoya and Ricky hatton he was asked about cotto who was undefeated and crushing opponents that mayweather only went the distance with. He flat out said he was retiring after the delahoya fight it's and said "I don't want boxing to end me". after his fight with hatton he said the same thing and was so nervous that he shouted for hatton to come talk to Larry merchant, it's on YouTube, also Margariyo called Floyd out for a fight and he avoided him like the plague.

Floyd is a great fighter but he has a duck beak. Just like paqiou, cotto has two losses in his record and lost in brawls.

Sergio is a punk; he's soft, calling out smaller fighters and no one even knows who he is! What a joke!
Martinez will never be a PPV star if all the PPV fighters duck him.

You call him a punk but he was trading with bigger guys when he fought Pavlik and Williams.

Look, Duran moved up from 135 to 147 and fought Leonard, then he fought Hagler at 160, and I'm talking about Hagler, not Sergio.

If Floyd had half of a Duran's ball between his legs, he would challenge Sergio for his Middleweight title.

Floyd never really took a risk in his career, I refuse to call Gatti,Diego Corrales or Zab Judah risked fights for a great fighter like Floyd.

The biggest risk he took was a past it DLH at 154 and it tells a lot.

            Not so bad...

Pacquiao won't fight him except with a 149 bull**** catchweight.

Floyd won't fight him before his 40th birthday.
but pirog and golovkin will fight him in his own weightclass......at 168 bute, ward and froch is waiting....ohh yeah martinez is too small yeah?? smh

While I agree he should fight Pirog definitely, it still wouldn't make him a big name if he won. And I refer to your first post where you used the term "euro stiffs" or something.

Some of the other names are just laughable. Anne Wolfe wont put Kirkland in with him. Sturm....no chance. Canelo....no chance.

Paul Williams and Pavlik were much bigger names than any of them so....

Regardless, if Sergio goes out and beats Pirog, its not going to make Miguel step in the ring with him. You're just making excuses.

Look at their resume and accomplishments and youll see.

Martínez cant Bild a candle to Cotto's resume.

To be honest, I dont blame Miguel. He knows he'd get destroyed and he doesn't want that to happen unless he gets a huge paycheque like the one he'll be getting from Floyd. And probably a lighter beating from Floyd too.

I dont blame Miguel at all. I dont even want to see the fight really. Miguel is done. He's a nice guy and he wouldn't deserve what would happen to him in that fight.
