Ya'll really think Cotto can ****k with Mayweather? Come on man...that's a bunch of bull****. I'm not knocking Cotto like some haters on hurrrr. I love, respect, and admire Cotto. He's one of my favorite boxers. However, against Mayweather he's going to get that ass beat. Sure, his jab is one of the main components needed to fight Mayweather, yet we all saw how Pac took it away in thurrr fight.
Pac simply countered Cotto's jab with a right hook urrrytime Cotto threw it, which enabled Pac to unleash a flurry of punches from urrry angle. Floyd will not do that, but he WILL counter Cotto's jab in a similar fashion with a right hand. Mayweather is not going anywhere. He's going to walk Cotto down and punish him. Cotto can't take it to the chin like Mosley, which is why Mayweather's punches will break him down. Once Cotto stops throwing the jab, and becomes hesitant as a result of May's counters May will step on the gas and tax that ass. There's nothing Cotto can do to Mayweather. I will be highly dissapointed if May doesn't get a KO or at the very least a TKO.
I don't want to sound like these haters who discredit Cotto, but real talk...Yuri, Mayorga, and Margarito aren't Mayweather.Comment

Lol
Cotto has problems with big punchers , he never had a problem with boxers , this is a comp, etely different fight from pacquaio ... Cotto should present may wit problems , may can't hurt Cotto so let's stop this right now before it startsComment

Of course its a different story , Cotto is NOT weight drained for starters , you guys just dont get it , Pac WILL NOT FIGHT Cotto without a Catch Weight , he was going to walk away if Cotto was not forced to 145 , do you really think the couple of pound meant nothing , if so you got to pretty short sighted or straight up gullible when you know they WOULD NOT fight without getting that CW .
And Now as Cotto has moved up , he cant go back to 147 , weight sticks its not like a guy in the street , its a F1 athlete , it would be worse for him trying to make 147 today than what 145 was , again Pac wants a weight draining CW ,,, he is such a manipulating a fraud .Comment

Mayweather can crack. He's not a Maidana type puncher, but he will hurt you with his punches and make u think twice. May CAN and WILL hurt Cotto.
Most people don't know **** about boxing homieComment

Ok I was a bit emotional and May's entire resume isn't exactly ****ty but at least Cotto's recent resume is ****ty for a reason. Have you ever boxed? It's 75% mental. When you get a beat down after winning such amazing fights and being undefeated, the way Cotto got beat down in Margacheato 1, that messes you up. Besides losing his trainer and uncle, Cotto lose his passion for boxing after that fight. He's stated publicly his heart was not in boxing for years after the cheato fight. Anyway, that totally showed in the ring. He lacked the same confidence, lost his balance, killer instinct, etc. So what I do praise Bob for is that he slowly built Cotto up and when he lost he slowly built him BACK up. Foreman was a green guy without a KO punch but he was expected to outbox Cotto by many and had outweighed Cotto by quite a few pounds. He, like May, is also no pitty pat puncher like his resume may lead one to believe. But his power wasn't enough. May has the advantage of being a great boxer so he might win, but Cotto is a small JMW and has taken good shots. Mayorga, while a bum, was a build up for Margarito and a very heavy, aggressive, powerful puncher. Then, he fights the man who started all his woes and gets a TKO. He would have gotten a UD if not for the eye but in that win Cotto showed why he was always the better man. To me Mayweather has no reason for avoiding big risk fights the past many years. I mean, Cotto beat Shane years before May did and if Cotto would have taken a year off to come back and fight Marquez he would have 1) Been disowned and bashed worst than May and 2) He would have KO'd the guy, Cotto's too powerful for Marquez.
Everyone May and Cotto have both fought, Cotto TKO's except for I think Shane or one other fighter, while May goes to a decision. I remember SO MANY people saying Cotto had no chance vs Cheato 2, orbital damage, no plaster or not. They knew Margs wasn't a great fighter but a force to be reckoned with no less, a man who never stops, and they thought Cotto couldn't take the pressure, wouldn't adjust. But he beat him convincingly and proved many wrong. But now Margs was never a tough guy to beat. Whatever. Floyd avoided Margs and was actually smart, the ****sucker was cheating.Comment

Umm, he tried to KO Pac and got rocked, did you not see it? I never said he was winning big either. You are so funny. You hate on Cotto for "running" so PLEASE tell me you do not praise others, like maybe fellow mexicans who "box." Watch the tapes back to back and tell me it ain't the same **** with Marquez "running" from Pacman rounds 10 - 12 in their last fight, right? C'mon you're not a crying sore-loser baby right? He lost that fight. Nobody told him to "run" during the championship rounds. And you also agree that ODLH ran from Tito the last IDK, 5 rounds of their fight by that logic right?Comment
