Pac's 145 and 151 lb titles are not legitimate IMO. cotto should've been 147 for reasons I stated above and manny and margs were a cobined 1-1-1 (all margs) at JMW. that is not title fight material.

because he is the lineal ww champion who was good enough to go up and beat the JMW champ in 2007 and in 2012. just for purposes of bashing floyd and arguing with his fans that post you are acting as if JMW is where he campaigns at.

canelo wants to get paid and floyd knows this. so he used his leverage to make the fight at 152 for the same reasons ODH and Bhop unified MW titles at 157-bigger draws create ideal circumstances for themselves.

I've never said his 150 title is legit, quite the opposite. His welter title is legit since he doesn't need a CW to defend vs top 5 or p4p or any other comp.

I recall Pac being singled out and bashed heavily as if he invented catch-weights. Now the only way to defend Floyd is to bring up Manny.

I simply answered your question. the criticism floyd is getting isnt because he's a 154lber its because some posters have an obsessive need to criticize him beyond what is rational.

when floyd and manny fans argue-pointing out the 145b weight was a good way to piss manny's fringe crazy tea prty level fans off because they knew there was no need for it other than competitive advantage. they just wouldn't admit it. all floyd has done now is give those posters a way to pretend they have evolved on the issue when they haven't.

floyd has fought at 154 2x in 6 years as of this post. thats not campaigning either.

i put that there to show you there was no need to repost they were top 5. I had already acknowledged they were. there was nothing to refute. they weren't in the top 3, where floyd's opponents were.

odh wasn't a 2 time champ either. i was talking about unfication at a cw.

beating clottey at 147 has no bearing on whether the cotto win was legit or not. nor does it make the title legit IMO. his title is legit to you because you are a fan. otherwise, since floyd has won twice at 154-you wouldnt be arguing the merits of a canelo win should it occur.
