The stigma that's put on Cotto is that he's shot and worn out and will be picked apart by Floyd to a TKO (which is crazy to me). I favor Floyd, but i truly don't think this is an easy fight for Floyd.

yes its a legit fight, i agree with you though...Mayweather should win...but i dont think he goes out there and wipes the floor with Cotto...if he does, its not because Cotto is shot, but rather Mayweather that good..

I agree.

I also think stylistically it's a more difficult fight for Mayweather than Mosley. Cotto even today has more tricks in the bag. Plus, being it's at 154 there won't be any excuses for either being drained or out of shape.

To me IMO, it was just as good maybe tad bit lower level of Floyd-Oscar. Whatever your opinion was in the Floyd-Oscar fight should be somewhat similar to this fight IMO.

Depends on how you define a legit fight, I don't think he stands much of a chance of winning but if a guy is the best who really stands a chance against them~

It was the best option out there though and Cotto is not a slouch, to me he is pretty much the same as always.

It means a lot to both men and it has been talked about for years, so yea I think it is a legit fight, who knows maybe Cotto fights the fight of his life and proves everyone wrong.

There's a huge difference between a "legit" fight and an "even" fight. This is definitely legit. Cotto is a real man's man, used to be an excellent fighter, still has that name and pedigree...but he's gonna get sliced up. I doubt he'll be stopped, but he's going to get shredded by Floyd's speed.
