It's a legit win for Manny, and I'm a Cotto fan. What I would say though in Cotto's case, considering what he was walking in with against Pac (no real trainer, edgy win over Clottey, cloud over Cotto's loss to Margarito) I think it's clear today that Cotto's confidence is up and he's got a legit trainer that seemed to have sparked Cotto back along with Cotto overcoming his demons with Margarito. That's not to say twee're going to see the old Cotto, but at the same time I don't think we're going to see shades of the 135-140lb Floyd many people still think exists. -

I'm just glad Floyd at the very least is fighting Cotto at 154.
Cotto is still going to lose.
I've said it since before Cotto-Pacquiao happened: "Against someone who is so good defensively and accurately, Cotto is going to look very, very bad. He is a very good fighter, but he EATS power punches left and right."
They've always been up there in the 35%-ish area. Look at stats with Judah, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Pacquaio, etc. Compubox stats shouldn't be taken into account to the tee (they definitely have a margin of error) but they give a general idea of what the fight's like. Cotto is going to eat A LOT of leather. Mayweather could be rusty and Cotto be on fire...and I hate to say it, boxing politics will NOT allow Cotto to win no matter how good he looks en route to a decision.
I hate to say it, they might as well put the loss in Cotto's column right now.Comment

Good fight. I see Floyd winning this well, but I also reckon Cotto will give him some uncomfortable moments. If this means Manny vs Bradley happens, then cool, thats a good fight too. Floyd v Cotto is more interesting though.Comment
