Only fact is Money called out Pac and ran away because of a 50/50 split. I your going by what Floyd says about another boxers finances then your truly just a silly fanboi. Floyd want more money over PAC. Last I checked Floyd was ranked 49 as the most power athlete compared to PAC being 29.

*****s like always looking for damage control for the fact Floyd put his foot in his mouth again. Floy better win because it will be sad to lose to Pacs left overs.
Come on man. Both sides been jerking the sport of boxing and fans around but you can't disagree (or shouldn't) that fight could have happened 2 years ago but Pac walked away from negotiating. Pac is taking less money to fight guys at lower weights or catch weights when he could make the fight happen. I honestly think that Bob Arum has something on Manny Pacquiao. That or Pac don't want to fight. We don't really know what is going on or being said behind the scenes but one thing is for sure is that Pac said he would take lesser money to make the fight happen but later relented to say he wants 50/50? That's bull*****.

Pac put himself out there for Floyd to pull that card. I feel like Arum got someone that is generating him huge amounts of money and he is not willing to take risks. Dude already said that he doesn't give a damn if the fight happens and he doesn't want to do business with other promoters. He tried to keep Floyd from fighting De La Hoya because Oscar left him.

All of this is in the history books of boxing homie. I think the terms "*****s" and "*******s" are ******ed for grown men to be labeling themselves as such. If people would just put aside their hate/love for fighters and just call it how it is then situations like this in boxing would not happen. Frankly, I think Bob Arum killed this fight. Investors, stadiums, late may (after he said May 5th was cool when Floyd was supposed to go away).

***** is ridiculous homie. These are grown men making HUGE amounts of money off of people that are mostly struggling and refusing to make the fight happen the world wanted to see? Bob Arum is milking Manny Pacquiao like he tried to do with Oscar and Floyd.

don't even say how good pac is...he would've been KO'd by Norrris, McCrorry, D. Curry, , beaten by Camacho w/out even talking about all time greats...can u see pac @ 147 vs Duran, Hearns or Leonard , all who would have ko'd him...he's a novelty...

Oscar disagrees with you on that one.
In fact, Floyd was offered $25M for a rematch with Oscar, and Floyd wouldn't take it.
He wouldn't take it because he felt that having beat Oscar 50/50 was the only offer and he was rught as he's made much more than that since then, per fight.

Secondly, Floyd waits till the end of Cotto's career to fight him, when he thinks Cotto is a shot fighter.
Shouldn't we consider that Floyd is also at the tail end of his career?

Cotto has chased Floyd for years.
That's the opposite, Floyd pursued Cotto but Arum said it was too soon for that fight and after that Floyd left Arum's plantation and uncle Bob swore that Floyd would NEVER fight ANY of his fighters. The Cotto fight is happening NOW because Cotto is no longer under contract with Arum (have you noticed that ONLY Tpo rank fighters and fighters without a promoter are allowed to fight Bob's fighters?)

Thirdly, Manny's competetion has been far greater, and more challenging than what Floyd has hand picked his whole career.
Really? Old, depleted, has been, retired fighters is what you call "greater"?

Don't take my word for it, look it up. Floyd tries to bag on Manny for asking Oscar and Cotto to come down in weight. Manny is up from 108 pounds where he started, and he walks around at 140/145 pounds.
And he asks everybody to come down to UNNATURAL weights, completely drained so he can brag about a victory. If he's so good why not fight those guys at their NATURAL weight as Floyd does it (with the exception of Marquez who went UP, put on weight, did not drain himself)

Oscar and Cotto probably walk around at 165 pounds. There is no slight on Manny for not wanting to go up to 150+.
But they had to come down to weights unnatural for them to please King Manny.

He already drummed Margarito (who Floyd wouldn't fight), at 150, Margarito outweighed Manny by 25 pounds on fight night.
Who had to drain himself severely, after a very lengthy period of inactivity, and after being severely beaten down by Mosley. And Marg lives on Arum plantation, see above.

Why doesn't Floyd fight Maidana, who destroyed Ortiz in 6 rounds, and chose Ortiz anyway?
              Maidana who?

Why hasn't Floyd gone up and fought Sergio Martinez?
Why is Pac not going up to fight Martinez?

How come Floyd hasn't gone up and fought Bernard Hopkins, like Leonard and Hearns did in their careers?
Why is Pac not going up to fight Klitschko?

Floyd should have been a Disc Jockey, cause he loves to spin things.
              He learned with Arum.

Floyd is a blow hard from the ******.
And he makes more money fighting once every 2 years than Pac 4 times a year.

              He isn't credible.
Pac and Bob "yesterday I was lying but today I'm telling the truth" Arum are?

He's all about the safest route to the bank.
Looks like Pac is doing better in this department than Floyd with all his demands for catch weight.

He's always up for demanding something, that won't be agreed upon, to guard his image, when he won't get in the ring.
In fact he's only demanded 2 things: random blood testing and a higher % of the purse.

              Give Manny a 50%-50% split,
Why should he? He's proven that he's the A side, bringing in better numbers every time.

and see how fast Pacquiao signs to fight Floyd,
Pac might want to sign but Master Bob won't let him. Remember, Pac will fight anybody, anytime but the choice of said opponent rests in Arum's hands.

then lets see what FLoyd comes up with next, to avoid fighting him.
Why do you think Floyd tried to negotiate directly with Pac?

Floyd Mayweather is the ONLY guy afraid to fight Pacquiao.
Arum IS afraid of Floyd, you should understand.

Everyone else in Boxing is lining up to fight Manny for a whole lot less money! Tell Floyd to grow a pair.
Hey money talks, so these guys will fight Manny, sure. Anything you want Manny, you want me to shave 20 pounds? Sure, it will be 1 million. You want me to stop throwing punches? Another million. Sure, no problem (see Mosley).

                Come on man

This is a fight at 154 which Manny would not take, He neat him at the catchweight but will not go up to 150 which he did for Margarito?? He destroyed Maragarito why not give Cotto at a catchweight? Didnt Manny say he would take less than 50% to fight Floyd what happened to that? 40 million plus money on the backside that is more money than Manny will ever make? So let Cotto get his biggest payday!! Although I like Manny he getting bad advice from his promoter or whoever in his ear because now he looking like all he want to do is fight for money when he made himself look like he fights for the people I think his image is changing with the times!! Either way Floyd beat Manny and Cotto and i think most everyone on here who is not A Manny fan agrees. I am neutral and think they are both good fighters bout Manny last 2 fights just reinterates that Floyd would handle him.

Team Pacquiao should never have insisted on the catchweight for the Cotto fight. It really didn't make much difference (Miguel said as much before and after the fight) and he had weighed in 146 the previous fight.

Now Mayweather can spin it like he's doing. He's found his angle.

You are one of the few credible posters on Boxingscene. Even though we have had differences in some posts, you always tell it how it is for both sides.
