Fernado vargas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anyone on Martinez entire resume!!

Im sorry, but Sergio aint shit compare to Trinidad, beating a face first brawler and a alcoholic doesnt compare to Trinidad.

wich at 154 was stonger and more powerfull.

Tito might not have been dominant at 147. But, his resume above 147 is just as good as Martinez resume. Maybe Martinez gets the edge just cuz' of the sheer quantity of fights he has had at 154-160. But, quality wise it's fairly even.

i dont agree. ill give u vargas and even joppy. ppl like the david reid fight but lets be serious. david reid was a damage prospect wit less that 20 fights who never achieved what ppl thought he would.

martinez beat p will, pavlik and he should have beaten kermit cintron. to me that trumps vargas and joppy. i and i dont have an issue with vargas but hes not/wasnt as great as ppl throw him around to be, i dont think he was better than pwill. imo they are a very equivalent level of fighter.

One can say that Pavlik was also damaged as well before Martinez got to him. If you think Vargas and P-Will are the the same level of fighter fine. Still don't see how that TRUMPS Tito resume above 147. Even with a W over Cintron is not more special than Tito W over Mayorga or Reid for that matter.

Quality wise I would give Tito the edge. But, if you want to give Martinez the edge fine. But, I disagree with Martinez trumping Tito resume above 147. In quantity sure, not quality.

Irrelevant, cuz' I don't see Martinez beating Tito. You can't fight him with your hands on your waist and if you have stamina issues which Martinez has.

i did forget the mayorga win, but thats probably because i dont think too highly of mayorga, so ill give u that.

yea u can argue martinez keeps his hands down, that being said, martinez does also move a great deal, and he doesnt stand in front of u, things Trinidad always struggled with. imo i think ill go with the naturally larger fighter here. i dont mind anyone disagreeing and i dont honestly know which fighter i like best, but i think martinez wins this one.

Only casual fans who just started boxing think Sergio Martinez has any chance of beating Trinidad or any good fighter.

I would definitely go with Trinidad, his conditioning was far superior to Martinez's too.

Okay lets break it down like this @ 147 trinidad was a much stronger fighter with more power in his gloves. For Martinez 147lbs was like his armature career since he never really had one.

                    Martinez W - 20 L - 1 w/6KO's (only loss Margarito @ 147lbs)
                    Trinidad W - 36 L - 0 w/30KO's (Undefeated beat Oscar, Oba Carr, Whitaker, Camacho sr)

The question is at 154lbs who wins right? Well @ 154lbs I have to give it to Martinez on paper and on paper is where this will happen right?

Martinez W- 27 L- 1 w/21KO's & 2 draws (Pavlik, Williams, Serhiy Dzinziruk 37-0 no one wanted to fight him)

                    Trinidad W- 6 L- 3 (Vargas, Joppy, Mayorga)

Based on their records alone I would go with Martinez above 147lbs......LEFTY
