That is such a misconception, you don't go 40-0 against good opposition and never get stopped if you have a bad chin. He was put down alot because of his punching technique and how he would put so much leverage into his shots so when he missed he was off balance and prone to flash kds.

obviously the left hand is what he'll be remembered for

he did have a very hard straight right hand when he got good extension on it
      and a nice right uppercut

but you're right to say it often served as a place setter. he was left hook crazy in certain fights.

      he had incredibly heavy hands.

        Exactly.

And Sergio still couldn't beat him. He could bring a bat. No chance.

          No Contest!

Why is this even a poll question? Who do you people think SM is?? He is over-rated and shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Tito. PERIOD. He beat Paul Williams( power dummy) AND Kelly Pavlik( abuse issues) Even in winning against those two names, he was challenged. In the first fight wilth Williams and against Pavlik. He even managed to lose to Margacheeto! Get real. Tito would have tore Cheeto apart with loaded gloves! I'd like to see this dude fight Kirkland or Vanes or anyone at 168 to stake his claim. Otherwise, I don't want to hear him or anyone else talking about how good he is. All he does is compare himself with Mayweather and Pacquiao who are both proven ring generals.

Yea his left hook was the killer, but for a southpaw in Martinez, Tito's right hand as well would be trouble enough for Martinez to think twice about keeping his hands down.

Tito was a dynamic puncher with both hands.
