Berto stepped aside before. Circumstances were different, but he stepped aside and Mosley got the fight with Mayweather.

I'm not the only one who thinks that is what's going on...

@stevemaxboxing RT @InSwiderBox: Jan 2010: Mosley Berto falls out as Mayweather needs a fight to "up" Pacquiao... Jan 2012: Ortiz Berto falls out... Just Wondering

Dude, Floyd/Ortiz II doesn't inject any ****ing money into the Vegas economy. That fight sells on Floyd alone which will be sub 900k buys. But yeah he's mexican. gg bro.

well, we'll have to see what happens. Obviously if one of them gets a super fight within the next couple of weeks then some "step aside" money could be true. Otherwise it's just speculation. Maybe he really hurt his arm. Could be from getting another fake tattoo.

Give Ortiz a tune up on the original date, then throw the Berto rematch on the Mayweather undercard! That would be good as ****. It could be a double header, or even a triple header if Mayweather and Canelo don't fight eachother (I'm crossing my fingers for that. I'd even prefer Canelo-Mosley).
