This is too perfect for Golden Boy. Rematch Ortiz with Mayweather on 5/5 and save Canelo from taking a loss. Berto took step aside money I'm guessing, with a handshake that he would get a fight with the winner later this year.

He's not Berto's promoter though. Interesting that they are making sure to get the word out that it is legit.

That's crazy.. Just got off the phone with Berto's trainer Tony Morgan and he didn't know what that was about... says they trained today and everything is fine...

maybe he slipped in the shower like jab judah prior to the shane mosley fight and "injured" his hand.
