I don't know Kev, have maybe said 5 words to him ever. So leave me out of it, cheers.

WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) is ready for the big names on May 5th. The fighter managed by Chepo and Eddy Reynoso, and promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, is negotiating the details of his next fight. According to Chepo Reynoso, a meeting will soon take place in Los Angeles to negotiate the details for Canelo's next fight.

Canelo says he's ready for anyone on May 5th, including Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Chepo supports his boxer's position, with enthusiasm.
Waiting until the fight is announced might be the best option before believing "Lois" and her sources. Canelo's next fight has been May 5 since before Mayweather began scrambling for opponents outside of Pacquiao and if Canelo's still mentioning several names it is because the Mayweather fight is not concrete; he could be fighting either one of the names he mentioned. Terms of a possible Mayweather fight would be discussed, if negotiations for a Cotto fight falls through, but that is no assurance that Canelo is Mayweather's next opponent, just that he's an option (Bob Arum has probably negotiated terms with Cotto, Bradley, Peterson, and JMM, but it doesn't mean that Manny's going to be in a gauntlet match just that it is only a matter of Arum picking out the best deal for him).

Miguel Cotto is not out of the May 5 picture, especially seeing Bradley being mentioned as Pacquiao's opponent more and more. I don't think Cotto would reject a Pacquiao fight for a anything other than a lucrative Mayweather fight.

Until an official announcement is made, Lois and her sources can be disregarded. That said, Mayweather-Canelo is an underrated fight here.

Opportunity, money, and agreement make fights happen, economics drive the world not empty bravado about who's afraid of whom.

Almost getting knocked out is like almost getting laid yo. And did Mosley get any younger when Pacquiao fought him?
Its called prize fighting for a reason. Yes money is involved. Who is dis*****g that? what im dis*****g your shameless, lame, and utterly limp excuse as to floyd choosing his fights to "support business" and "pay a lot of people who wouldnt be getting paid." That's how floyd always chooses his fights. For you to try to make floyd look like he's mother theresa of boxing and if he doesnt fight "businesses would fold" and "people wouldnt get paid" is utterly comical and dishonest. Stop trying to paint a biased and crooked picture of floyd.

the getting almost KTFO is in response to your flawless performance each time out when that isnt the case. Did pac almost get KTFO by shane? No. Did floyd ever knock down shane like pac? No. Didnt shane land more punches on floyd than on pac?

Economics drive the world and boxing right? So wtf is floyd saying no to a 50-50 split in what will be the richest fight in boxing history?

Emppty bravado? What like floyd's whole wanksta act aka slick marketing campaign?

              Whose afraid of who?

Lets see who was it that labeled pac overrated, one dimensional, too small, and my favorite easy work ? o yea that was floyd who thinks a one dimensional, too small, overrated, and easy work is taking steroids.

lmfaaaoooo. make sure you wipe your mouth after your done sucking off floyd you flaming *****.

                • i don't really like this, especially for mayweather. but for alvarez, awesome! he's facing the best fighter in the world and since imo he will eventually lose sometime in his career, no shame in losing to the best in the world. i just hope they completely stacked the undercard if it happens, i'm not going to buy it if it's just this fight. that said, i would've taken mayweather/cotto and alvarez/mosley or alvarez/cotto and mayweather/???. it is what it is, both pacquiao and mayweather are running out of opponents to fight. alvarez is most likely going to get embarrassed, but hopefully it's a fairly decent fight.

                  • It's not as terrible as some are making it out to be but it's not a great fight. Lacks any real drama and tension as to the end result. And as much as I like Saul, he's a work in progress. GBP throwing him to Floyd says a lot about them as a Company.
