It's not as terrible as some are making it out to be but it's not a great fight. Lacks any real drama and tension as to the end result. And as much as I like Saul, he's a work in progress. GBP throwing him to Floyd says a lot about them as a Company.

I'm surprised...thought for sure Floyd would pick Cotto. I guess Floyd must have made Canelo sacrifice a ton to make the fight...weight, pay cut, glove size, ring size, location.

Maybe the inexperience factor is what Floyd is going for.....beat a young fighter, look good but the kid was lost from the moment the bell rang. Not sure the angle but there is one.....this much I do know. The thing is though, Canelo has more people attend his fights in Mexico than Floyd does here.

Good post then. I misunderstood you the first time. Yeah, Manny honestly has more heart than Mayweather to me. He loves a challenge. Mayweather doesn't care about his fans at all. Or his legacy. If he chose Canelo because of "drawing power", then he ducked Cotto once again. Cotto is th third biggest draw in the sport behind Manny and Mayweather. He's afraid of possibly losing. Canelo is a safe fight for him. He must have watched the Gomez fight. LoL. Gomez exposed the kid and was beating him up! I'll stick to supporting Manny because he takes risks. He'll fight anybody around his size.

Why would he fight a Puerto Rican on May 5th? Stop acting like Canelo is not a draw because he's selling out arenas and millions of people in Mexico watch his fights on TV.

Cotto's name and resume speaks for itself. Canelo hasn't been chasing Mayweather for years, Cotto has. Cotto actually has a chance to win that fight. Canelo has 0 chance of winning. Furthermore, Cotto would beat Canelo with his expeirence and boxing skills. He would most likely stop him within twelve rounds.
