It is a special skill, but again 14lbs separate the 5 divisions. (112, 115, 118,122,126) A guy like Donaire squeezed himself down to 112 when he was younger won a title and then win titles as he is doing now. He could probably win a title all the way to 140 if given the right opponents (kind of like pacquiao) And at a catchweight at 141 for the WW title, he could win 9 divisions.
Not saying its not special, but with right opposition, catchweights and organizations willing to hand belts, its not a record that would last 100 years.

Titles at different weight classes at some point are going to be pointless. I just want a guy to stay in one division and become undisputed champ. That will be a real task.

People talking about weight making huge differences in fights. That is not always the case. Fighters like, Mayweather,and Donaire are not physical fighters. Their boxers. They use timing,distance,speed,footwork ,skill to beat thier opponants.Weight only plays a part if your a physical fighter, which they are not.

It doesn't take a special fighter, just great timing. There's a reason a lot of people don't make a huge deal out of Pac's wins, and that's because there are so many champions, you can become one by fighting the weaker of the champs..Hell, in this day and age, you can fight for a title without even fighting at the limit...Hence Pac fighting for the 154 title, and not even fighting at it's limit. Catch weights and alphabet champs make that record in sight for large guys like Donaire who have unreal weight cutting ability. Donaire has the better gift for boxing imo than Pac, and Donaire if he really choses his spots, could probably break that record if he wanted to.

I won't get into the whole Pac invincible thing because it's kind of funny...

Even with floyd skill and great timing in picking his opponents he can only manage to be a 5 div champ.

Well let's just wait for donaire if he can at least become a 5 div champ, he already said that he wants to be a multiweight champ like pac.

Donaire is the Marquez, Morales and Barrera level boxer . There is nothing Donaire can not do in that ring. He is by far the best phillipino fighter ever. Pacpunk is the one whos always in dire straights when faced against a real live wire. Good fighters adapt and overcome, dumb fighters like pacpunk keep doing the same dumb **** over and over.

I don't really completely disagree with you Pasaw, but with modern training regimens, nutrition, etc, it's not impossible, especially if you take into consideration PEDS (this is not an accusation for Pac, bear that in mind) usage by not so honest guys. Pac is an 8 div champ, but it's quality over quantity. There's a reason Pac isn't considered the top dog in his division, and hasn't always fought the top guys in each division he's been in. As a fan, I can criticize him in that way, same goes for Floyd, but more so Pac. Again, quality over quantity. Do you prefer a dominating (possibly even unified) champion or a guy fighting the lesser of each champs, winning, moving on before facing the top dog in most of the divisions? Not to downplay Pac's accomplishment because it's still a nice accomplishment..but it's not what it could have been (partly because of the times and amounts of champs, other part because of the victories/lack of them).

#1 Donaire and Pacquiao should never be mentioned in the same sentence Donaire is a very intelligent fighter, with all the tools, and believe it or not he has fought very good competion. His most notable opponant was The ROMANIAN Bull, I cant remember his name but he was undefeated when he entered the ring with Donaire and he was stopped by a short left hook. The problem with special fighters like ,Donaire, Floyd Meather jr,Roy jones,mike tyson and Ali is that thier so much better than thier competion they make them look like bums, when in fact thier very good fighters.

Pacquiao is not a speacial fighter, he looks like it against limited competion. You can tell the difference when Pacquiao fights someone with skill,hunger and real abilty. For instance Marquez,Eric Marralez 1, and even the Shane Moesly fight against Pac, where Shane was able to make Pac look ****** cause he doesnt know how to cut off the ring or counter punch. So please stop putting Pac in sentences with great fighters, he's not even close to being great! The world will see it if he ever steps in the ring against Mayweather,or Martinez.

Pac is a great fighter and what he has achieved is no easy task even with your bullcrap excuses.

Skillwise Pac is not so skilled but his accomplishments and his resume will speak for itself.
