I think Canelo's hesitance to really let loose in his last couple fights will work to his advantage early against Kirkland. Straight up trading with Kirkland is a bad idea for anyone.

I can only see this fight ending in KO/TKO

I think if Canelo hasn't gotten Kirkland out of there in the first 6 rounds, Kirkland is going to on his ass and the ref steps in. I wouldn't rule an early Canelo KO though.

Cali doesn't suck for boxing. Some of the best fights have happen in the forum. And, the staples have had some dramatic fights. Cali problem is that it has the worse high profile fight commission next to Texas

Alvarez would take Kirkland apart and Knock him out within 6 or 7 maybe much sooner. Just a better fighter and far more technical

Kirkland walks into punches, Alvarez doesn't. But when is Alvarez going to fight a mandatory, 2014?

Alvarez was outboxed by Gomez ffs.

They have been protecting Alvarez chin like a Faberge egg, giving him pillow fisted opponents.
Why do you think they are doing that for?
He got hurt and dropped by a old undersized opponent in Jose Cotto.

I noticed Alvarez doesn't like pressure, guess what Kirkland will do.

This is a Ko win for Kirkland

Canelo did ok against Cintron, they were fighting over 7k feet.

If this fight gets to the fourth round, it'll be Kirkland by KO. Alvarez's best chance is to KO Kirkland early as Alvarez tends to gas mid fight when pressured, from what I've seen from him.
