Del Boy is nothing special, but when he has his mind right he is a decent fighter, if he comes in in good shape and fights smart he'll give Vitali a tough fight for the first six rounds or so anyway. And as Jab said ... Vitali was afraid to take Byrd on again cause he knew it would just be more of the same, sure he'd likely have won but he'd have looked very ordinary doing it. Just watch that fight against byrd and see the way he caught vitali's jab all night long and made it look completely impotent, no wonder he threw his shoulder out in the end.

You must be out of your mind to NOT even blame age for Derek's style being too much to handle. You have no idea what's going to happen to your boy. The fact that Chisora is guaranteeing he won't receive his beatdown from the outside will ONLY cut short his night in half.. You don't come barreling in to Vitali without firepower & considerable speed to take advantage of it... Last time a Brit tried this strategy he got destroyed vs Vitali.


Last time a fighter tried to barge in on Vitali's airspace he didn't make it past the first rd.. Vitali has bigger fish to fry than to chase Byrd around the ring.. It's like swatting flies when you're used to crushing bugs. Wlad has more patience for that & therefore he got the call... you happy now. Last I remember.. one doesn;t seek repetence or revenge when one has won 8 out of 9 rds over a fighter & only lost because HE chose to because of injury.
