Chris Byrd wanted a "second helping" and Vitaly wanted no part of it. If he gets so upset about not getting the ko you would figure he would be livid about not only knocking Byrd out but losing to him. Wonder why he ducked that rematch if he really gets so fired up?

Chris Byrd got a patented Klitschko beatdown twice afterwards.. so I think he's paid the price enough.. don't you. Poor Chris.. How many rds is he going to go with a Klitschko & be beatdown? He's gone 30 rds with A Klitschko (MOST by any opponent) & won 2 to 3 rds tops.. i'd say he got his fill from the Klitschko's & paid the price for the gift he received initially...

After quitting it simply would have done his reputation no good to look so bad and not be able to get Byrd out of there again so he probably just said the hell with it instead of taking care of unfinished business. Vitali has bigger fish to fry than to chase Byrd around the ring.. It's like swatting flies when you're used to crushing bugs. Wlad has more patience for that & therefore he got the call... you happy now. Last I remember.. one doesn;t seek repetence or revenge when one has won 8 out of 9 rds over a fighter & only lost because HE chose to because of injury.


Byrd is one of those flappers.. flapping his wings & talking shet... he can't bank on another shoulder separation to occur... only natural for him to pretend he wants a rematch because everyone is telling him he really didn't win that night.
