Also IMO Dirrell just said thanks but not thanks to a Bute match up.
    i agree vato...

Good move to leave Gary Shaw in my opinion.

Leaving Shaw might have been a good move but doing his own thing IMO isn't.

it doesn't really matter because Al Haymon is his real promoter anyway. I know Haymon calls himself a manager but come on he's the guy calling the shots with his guys.

why else would Showtime reject Bute vs Froch?

Dirrell really can't call any shots because he doesn't have a big fan base nor is he very accomplished. if he didn't have Al Haymon's influence he'd be taking any fight he could get.

If he wants Bute he'll have to go to Canada. I'm not really a Bute fan but Bute sells outs big arenas, Dirrell would have problems selling a couple thousand.

I'd love to see him fight Bute but it'll only be in Canada. The draw calls the shots, it's always been that way. like it or not

If I read that right, leaving Haymon jumped out at me. Who does that? A guy who can be a stinker, with no real fan base, strikes out on his own and starts making demands about one of the game's biggest ticket sellers?

                Good luck with that.

Not sure if this is a good thing for Dirrel, although yes he will need to KO Bute for a win (everyone knows how bad Canada is), but then again Dirrel dosent have much leverage. I'd say just take the fight.

                      Another top fighter leaves Shaw.

Dirrell boxes in the Mayweather gym doesn't he? In Vegas? This could have been an advice from Floyd. Being his own boss, making his own company. Though idk why he left Haymon if that's the case. Floyd is his own boss with Haymon still as his adviser.
