People posting crap like this crack me up. You'd almost think they actually thought Top Rank had any interest in making the May 5th fight. Floyd is no doubt an idiot if he won't accept a 50/50 split, but don't all of the sudden try to pretend like Mayweather is the reason the fight isn't happening just because he wants a bigger purse - especially since Pacquiao said that he'd take a lesser purse.

When the article came out where Pacquiao said that he would take a lesser purse just to get in the ring with Mayweather, some of you same Pacquiao fans were celebrating and calling Mayweather a coward (kind of like you are now), and saying that Mayweather would still never accept.

The second Mayweather asked for more money, siting that same exact same article as the reason, the same Pacquiao fans are now saying "Mayweather never wanted the fight. he's a coward".

    hmmm...

I don't know why he has fans like this.....Floyd is an unlikable person. Who defends a person like that unless they are just being patriotic.

If you support the troops, you should support me.

It's obvious that it's Floyd who is ducking.......these hardknock mathematicians just don't get it.

If Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the proposed date of March 13th becomes official, both fighters will have to undergo rigorous drug testing leading up to the fight. According to report by ESPN, part of the contract has both sides agreeing to be subjected to Olympic-style drug testing that will include blood tests. The tests conducted on each fighter's blood samples will thoroughly be tested for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs or chemicals.

The blood samples will be tested at the U.S. Olympic testing center at UCLA, and each fighter will be subjected to more than one drug test over the weeks leading up to the event. Blood tests will stop one week before the fight.

According to ESPN's report, team Mayweather wanted the Olympic style drug testing clause added to the contract.

The highly respected and talented trainer for Pacquiao, Freddie Roach was quoted by the publication in regards to the drug tests being a stipulation in the contract. Roach stated: "Mayweather's side wanted it because the expert over there, Mayweather Sr., says Manny is on steroids to get bigger." Roach is certain that he and his fighter Pacquiao (who has already passed every drug test in his career so far) have nothing to hide. "I have no problem with the testing whatsoever," stated Roach.

Roach knows that his star pupil Pacquiao will pass the drug and blood tests with flying colors and feels that Mayweather's side is scared of Pacquiao and his power. "They can do whatever kind of drug testing they want," stated Roach to ESPN, adding: "They're s
cared of Manny and scared of his power. He'll pass any test in the world."

Chances of any illegal substances being found in the blood or urine samples of both fighters are slim... considering the rigorous testing they will be put through, sneaking some type of steroid or enhancement will be next to impossible and ****** to even try.

Neither Pacquiao or Mayweather have ever failed drug testing in the past.

No Floyd pulled the blood test card at the 11th hour to scupper the fight, thats why the fight did not happen back then.

Floyd even admitted himself that the sticking point for the fight back then were the blood tests.

But then again Floyd's word can't be trusted.

Do you have posters of Floyd on your wall?

According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Floyd Mayweather Jr has a $25 million guarantee for tomorrow night's fight, while opponent and defending WBC welterweight titleholder Victor Ortiz is guaranteed just $2 million.

                http://www.badlefthook.com/2011/11/1...quez-5-million

Here are the purses for tomorrow night's Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez III pay-per-view, from the Nevada commission.

Fighter A Purse Fighter B Purse
Manny Pacquiao $22,000,000 Juan Manuel Marquez $5,000,000

                Now no more lies.

Dude, Look at what your writing! Floyd's guarantee was 25 million but after the PPV he walked away with more than 40 million just like Manny's BS paper guarantee might have been 22 million (his purse was actually 6 million) it is very well known that Bob Arum makes MORE off Manny's fights than Manny does then kick in the Golden Boy percentage. A 4th grader can do the math on that one dude, it's too bad a dude with a just 3rd grade education can't seem to. One more grade and maybe he could have. I'm just saying...........
