I at first thought Cotto had the better resume but after thinking about it some more I would have to go with Floyd. The only person that Cotto has on his resume that Floyd still needs is Manny Pacquiao. Floyd has fought more Hall Of Famers, more undefeated fighters, and has beat champions in more weight classes than Cotto has. Too bad I can't change my vote but I'd go with Floyd by a slight margin. If he were to face Pacquiao and beat him than his resume beats Cotto's by a huge margin.
That's silly.
If you have Floyd by a slight margin then one win over Pacquiao should not make a huge difference.

That's your fanboy talking.
Johnwoo is a fanboy of who exactly? STFU your just ignorant. And, Pac would be the greatest win in Floyd career. Floyd doesn't have a win against a certified ATG. And, not only is Pac a certified ATG but he's also a current elite fighter.
I do agree that it's not close between Floyd and Cotto on who has the better resume.
floyd didn't get tuned up by a blown up featherweight.
floyd didn't go life and death with joshua clottey.
floyd didn't quit to a tough but limited brawler.
You also left out:
Floyd didn't even fight them.
As for the topic, its up in the air to me for the simple reason that Floyd has a better resume at lower weightclasses, but his "retirement" and WW resume kills what it COULD have been. Cotto's more than makes up for Floyd's, he fought everyone Floyd didn't. I didn't vote, I would call it equal.
When your opponants are fighting bums winning Percentage doesnt mean ****. Who has Quintana fought, or who has Clottey fought at the time they faced Cotto?
Quintana, Torres, Paulie and Foreman were all undefeated at the time... it doesn't really matter because they never lost like Floyd says. Cotto CREATED the blueprint to beat all these guys.

Cotto didn't fight "everyone." And, Floyd has just as good if not a greater WW resume than Cotto.

That's a special group of boxers right there. Talk about P4P material.

I think Pacquiao is better than almost any guy Floyd has ever fought. Manny Pacquiao's name on your resume would mean a lot. The only reason I have Floyd slightly ahead is because I do believe he could have fought some better competition than he did at 147. I agree that Floyd's resume overall is better than Miguel's but at 140 to 154 not so much.
