people still see Cotto for the fighter he used to be 4 years ago I really believe the Margarito fight gave most boxing fans a false sense of where Cotto is at right now as a boxer

Cotto stops him around 8 or 9. Berto just doesn't have what it takes to beat Cotto.

The same berto who gasses in 4 rounds when applying the pressure?
Versus teh Cotto who looks best when his opponent tries to fight off teh back foot?

This is relevant because there are 2 kinds of bertos and neither win this fight. Long live the action packed fight Berto gave us in Collazo, He gassed against Ortiz then looked absolutely spent between rounds while putting on some SLOPPY pressure against Zaveck.

The other Berto ,is teh berto we saw stink the place up a few times, most noticeably against Urango, and that Berto is a Berto that cotto has looked BEST against his entire Career. Judah, Malignaggi, Foreman, anyone who has ever taken a step back.

Seriously. On top of that, who has berto ever fought or beat? He was untested throughout his entire career, and protected - then finally he fights ORtiz and what happens? Come on guys. Berto was never that good to begin with, and isn't that good at all. He should have lost to collazo, he made Urango come up to 147 then RAN against him while the smaller ALEXANDER was able to KNOCK THAT SAME FIGHTER OUT, and then he has a drained Quintana on his resume.

This mans best wins are Zaveck and Forbes in the long haul, LOL! Get real. Soon as he fought someone credible he got beat on.

Berto is made for Cotto, plus his defense is nonexistent. He gets beaten bad.

Berto doesn't have a chin worth bragging about. Cotto stops him.

                    Read my above post.

You said it all in 1 sentence. Thank you.

Berto has never even stepped up and became an A class fighter yet, and people act like he's something special. I've never seen someone remain a PROSPECT for so long. Yes, berto was still a prospect, but with a title. His coming out party was Ortiz, he lost.

too strong??? Cotto is much stronger than Berto, Ortiz bodied berto all over the ring. Judah and Mosley both fast fighters were neutralized by cottos jab. Please come up with a good reason why Berto would win other than him being BLACK.
Nothing berto did in his entire career can say he would beat cotto
