Donaire fought a lot of good guys, only thing they were so much smaller, including Montiel. A lot of former and future champs on his ledger, and he mostly did it with ease.

^- That. It's almost sickening how much people have been underrating Narvaez just because he elected to survive against a fighter that was quite a bit bigger than him. From a technical standpoint he still managed to make Donaire look silly in there at times.

There are also fighters like Marquez and Mthalane who are two of the top guys right now at Fly. Though the Mthalane win wasnt that great because it was a cut stoppage.

No they aren't ducking Rigondeaux. I don't think any fighter in the sport would duck each other personally. Its the promoter who is steering fighters in certain directions.

Nonito Donaire, Robert Garcia, and Bob Arum

          Mission: Avoid Ridondeaux
          Status: In full effect

I must say I am not surprised. Rigo should just keep fighting and beating people, and make Nontio look like a punk avoiding him.

****** post. Rigondeaux is irrelevant. Just because a guy rather look for bigger names doesn't mean they are avoiding other fighters.

Let's say Rigondeaux schedules Arce, destroys him. Who does that mean Nonito fights next? Don't know? Rigondeaux. Why? He made a bigger splash and the money will be better than Rigondeaux without a signature win.

It's not like Nonito isn't fighting Rigondeaux but fighting lesser fighters. He's talking about fighting Arce, Juanma, and Gamboa. You can't fault him for not fighting an irrelevant boxer.

Rigo just won the title and some ****** ***s on this site act like he has been a champ for years that Donaire has ducked for years. What a damn joke.

there are two fighters Nonito will not fight for now, Arum will let him, one is Gamboa and they talking about him because the Cuban is going up in weight chasing after Rios, so he's not going from 118 to 130-35 to fight him, and the other is Rigondeaux for obvious reason, too much of a risk regardless of the money, even if they offer the biggest purse of his career he will not fight him now.
