you know not long ago, pacland was proclaiming that manny had as much mexican fans as marquez, morales and barrera. so what happened?

I don't believe everything Pacland declares and I don't even visit the site.

Pacquiao has Mexican fans but as not as many as those Mexican legends. IMO.

Whether its Mayo de Cinco or not, these MexiPac Fans will buy the PPV.

The best event to hold during Mayo de Cinco is against a Mexican Opponent with a huge fan base like Canelo.

yeah, you're correct, Floyd is still ups by 2 points and you're happy how Floyd bogged down 2 negotiations! First, was an excuse of random blood test in the guise of cleaning the sports! but when things ironed-out in the second negotiation, Floyd suddenly said in the end was not aware of any existence of negotiation represented by his own very closed people! and to make matter worse, he said, he was on vacation! And this 3rd attempt to put the 2 parties on the negotiating table again looming because Floyd this time is looking for much of the share! and you have reasons to rejoice because your Floyd is a master of ducking Pac!!!

They were not excuses for stopping the fight. They ended up agreeing to all of them to get him in the ring. Now FLOYD wants more money or no fight.

Where have you been the last 5 years?? Both of these fighters have fought on Cinco de Mayo weekend 4 out of the last 5 years. Mayweather vs DLH may 5th 2007, Pacquioa vs Hatton May 2nd 2009, Mayweather vs Mosley May 1st 2010, Pacquioa vs Mosley May 8th 2011. I only see one Mexican fighter on the list, and that was DLH. So your point about fighting a non Mexican has no point and is irrelevant. Now the undercard should be full of mexican fighters out of respect for the holiday, since its a top rank and golden boy promotions i would have Brandon Rios in the first fight then in the second fight have Canelo fight before the main event. FACTS: no date in the history of boxing is better than May 5th thats the same date Mayweather vs DLH broke the ppv record.
