You don't negotiate by reserving your own date and telling your opponent's promotional company that they should follow that date. That's bull**** negotiation. Unless, someone who wants to profit with you told you to do it so they will have part of the purse or already planned fighting a MEXICAN DRAW on a MEXICAN DAY.

Floyd and Manny doesn't want to fight each other. End of story and stop with your FACT thing.
you know not long ago, pacland was proclaiming that manny had as much mexican fans as marquez, morales and barrera. so what happened?

It's ok......we're gonna get ESPN to start publicly voicing that we should boycott the fights if they decide to not fight each other. I have a cousin that works for ESPN and I've been filling his ears with the idea and he said people at work think it makes perfect sense. He said that in the next few weeks we should start to hear about it on TV and the analysts are gonna start itching the idea to the public- boycott any fight that isn't between the two, force their hands. The public isn't paying 70 dollars for anymore of these wacked out fights....go big or go home.

This should be 50/50 or no fight! I wouldn't blame Pacquiao for walking away for anything less! Seems to me as soon as they agree on one issue, Floyd will just put up another road block!

He knows this fight will never be agreed on for less than 50/50! This **** is ridiculous! He just make himself look like a hypocrite! It doesn't matter what the date of this fight is, if it's not 50/50 there is no fight!

Wow, looks like Pac and Mayweather may never make another dime. When is your cousin going to shut it all down?

Where have you been the last 5 years?? Both of these fighters have fought on Cinco de Mayo weekend 4 out of the last 5 years. Mayweather vs DLH may 5th 2007, Pacquioa vs Hatton May 2nd 2009, Mayweather vs Mosley May 1st 2010, Pacquioa vs Mosley May 8th 2011. I only see one Mexican fighter on the list, and that was DLH. So your point about fighting a non Mexican has no point and is irrelevant. Now the undercard should be full of mexican fighters out of respect for the holiday, since its a top rank and golden boy promotions i would have Brandon Rios in the first fight then in the second fight have Canelo fight before the main event. FACTS: no date in the history of boxing is better than May 5th thats the same date Mayweather vs DLH broke the ppv record.

That'd be nice if it happens, i've been watching fights on stream only since pac-shane. With floyd, ha, after he fought jmm, never bought one again!

Would be great if lots of casual fans like me won't buy their ppv anymore.

Isn't "Cinco" = 5? or i'm just being too literal since i have really no idea what Cinco de mayo means for i thought it means only exactly that..."May 5" and i only see one "May 5" on what you cited...

You think that promoters care about how less or many times you fight? They care only if you bring more money.

As far as the number goes Pac still outsells Floyd in both attendance and PPV's. It's not Pac's fault Floyd fights once a year.
