Is Showtime looking to set up Bute vs Dirrell?

They turned down Bute vs Froch, and said that they would prefer to see Bute vs an American. Andre Dirrell seems like he would be the most logical choice. I wonder if this is what Showtime is pushing for.

Bute vs Dirrell is the only option as i cant see Kessler Bute happening and doubt Showtime would accept the Kessler

Showtime might want the bout, but the fight won't generate the kind of $ to make it worth the risk to Bute. Bute can make 1mil per fight fighting nobodys, the only way this fight happens is if Dirrell is willing to fight for 100K while Bute makes 1 million.

Earn his shot at Bute? Beat a top ranked fighter? Who the **** has Bute beaten? Dirrell fighting Abraham and Froch shi/ts on anything Bute has ever done in his career.
