  • Rigondeaux calls out Donaire after stopping Ramos in 6

Make it happen. Nonito seems to have chosen his path through 122 as Vazquez Jr. then Jorge Arce but he can't claim **** at the weight if he doesn't take on El Chacal.

Let's hope we don't get the usual treatment from TR with this one.

If they meet Rigo would mostly likely move up to featherweight if he wants to catch up with Donaire cuz Nonito wont hang at super bantam long.

won't happen because we never get the fights we want anymore.

I can honestly say I have no clue who wins this one. I lean towards Nonito but if there's anyone that can beat him under FW, it's Rigondeaux.

Rigo is the only guy that can do it at 122, but I don't think he's ready just yet. Guillermo is potentially great, but he's still learning the pro game. I don't care how good you are, beating a top P4P fighter is a lot to ask of a guy with nine pro fights. It's pretty damned impressive that Guillermo can already even be mentioned in the same sentence with Donaire.

His power allows him to carry his style well into the pro game. I don't think it will change much with more fights so I'd like it to be made as soon as possible. I see where you're coming from though. Just don't think the extra fights will help much.

tarver said rigo would be nervous against ramos and the fact is, he is not amateurish at all. He knows the game better than most boxers and I feel he'd be totally game for donaire. I don't have many points but i'd be willing to put them up for rigo over donaire. His strongest asset is his counterpunching and he couldn't even show that tonight because ramos was scared. I think he has a lot more ability than he gets credit for. One of my top 10 fighters right now p4p just because he dominates, simply.

Part of the problem is that, despite countless amateur fights, Rigondeaux hasn't ever fought someone as good as Donaire. The experience is great, but most amateurs are just what the name implies. I've heard that Rigo beat Gamboa several times in the ams, but Yuri wasn't the same fighter then that he is now.

How do you prepare for someone better than anyone you've ever faced, except by fighting guys above what you're accustomed to but below your intended target? There's no easy formula, just more work and experience.

Donaire needs to focus on Vazquez Jr and not Rigo because Vazquez Jr wont be an easy fight.
